I have never posted this video on my channel. This means I have never made a dime from this video. This video was posted on my father's channel. With that said, thank you very much for supporting my father's channel. I am posting videos of projects that I have done in the past that have never made it to this channel for two reasons. 1. Videos that have been put on my other channel are different viewing experiences for a different audience, although there is some cross-over of viewers, meaning some people have seen the video. However, many have not. On this channel, I share commentary about the job, philosophy, experiences, etc. Many people enjoy this aspect of the channel. 2. I went months without posting videos on this channel for personal reasons. I did not stop doing projects that I will eventually share on this channel as well as the boring channel for the viewers that enjoy that channel but before I share new videos on here I am using older projects that are in a some what completed state and just need a voice over to get back in the groove of speaking again. It has nothing to do with money. Before you point it out, yes, I do make an income from my channel. All income that I produce allows me to continue to do this type of work. I'm sure if you take a moment to think about all the expenses that go into this line of work, seen and unseen. If you need help, I can break it down for you. I don't feel any guilt about making money. Hell, I want to make more. The more I make, the more I can do for people. It's pretty amazing. I do appreciate the support of the channel. I'm sure you did not mean this to be negative. It may have just been a short-sighted assessment of my motivations.

The awesome thing is that there are. Not at all saying the people in this video aren't wonderful and special, just that -- well, there's a lot of people doing really great stuff to support others. I'm astounded by the support I've gotten in the last seven months since my wife suddenly passed away.

The homeowners were such kind people, so appreciative, even got out there and helped y’all. So nice to see! Kevin your words of wisdom regarding educating ourselves was priceless! Each word you spoke is so true! School of hard knocks is a favorite of mine. I got my GED and never attended college, but I was blessed with mentors as you spoke of and that’s how I got along in providing an income. You offered good pointers for people to start their own business so they can provide and learn a skill/learn a trade when not able or do not want to attend college. Y’all are a blessing! Even Mother Nature’s attempt to slow you down didn’t stop you. What blessing to have your family involved and share this special time together.

I watched the transformation of this home on "The Cabin on the Hill" channel, and was brought to tears seeing all the love and kindness you all showed to this family. It was truly heart warming. I loved all the smiles at the end of the video. You talking about Rachel helping made me remember the last time I had my house painted, the wife of the painter did 3/4 of the job, he stood around talking to whom ever he could get to talk with him, lol. But seriously she did do most of the work on my house. Kevin we only suggest you wear protective gear, ie face mask, face shield, leg chaps, etc because we love you and want you to stay healthy to be able to take care of your family and to produce great videos.♥God bless, be safe and stay well♥🙏🏼💛s of gold. January 2024. I could go on forever about how good this video made me feel. Unbelievable transformation!!! Yourself and your family blessed this woman and I was in tears for a large portion of watching this video. I am a 58 year old semi-retired bricklayer from Canada and restoration was my main focus. If I was in the area I would have, without hesitation fixed and repaired the brick work on the bottom of one of the front columns and the chimney too of course. God bless you and your family.
