Timeless, vintage and nostalgic. Angelina Jordan is an artist that incorporates all of the above and more. She is able to sound like a seasoned professional each and every time she steps up to the mike. The Black and white video really adds to the 50s and 60s that the song and its music project ! Angelina Jordan is able to sing any type of genre, but this song with her jazz influences in the vocals really adds a lot to the music. As Angelina gets older she is now really looking so relaxed and natural behind the microphone in all her movements and it really shows in these newest videos. The most important thing I like about Angelina is that she isn't like the modern day Pop-Tarts that we see in today's mainstream music. She stays true to herself and is always appropriately dressed while giving us that beautiful soulful, deep and emotional connection with her music. Her lyrics are really well composed and so relatable to many on so many different levels. I guess you've noticed that even in this video she has a strong resemblance to Elvis Presley and she actually could be a reincarnation of the great king of rock and roll. I want to thank you for continuing your wonderful journey with our beautiful barefoot princess. Your channel is so important to all the angels all over the world. Keep posting my friend. Yes she conveys the emotion very well when singing her covers and songs. There is one other that can do the same thing and that person is Daneliya Tuleshova. For that reason both Angelina and Daneliya Tuleshova are my favorite up and coming singers I see ruling the Music industry very soon. They are about 6 months apart and both have accomplished a lot already in their short time on earth already.

Yes she can write but this ladtbyear Republic has given her a long list of Grammy winners to give her masterclasses in how to turn the 100 songs in her notebooks into hits. This is her track 2 of her EP OLD ENOUGH. I love GOOD IN GOODBYES also or if you want a little flavour of Lauren Hill fugees era, Angelinas song ALL MY FAULT. Her final Trzck DIAMOND is much more current with even one line of lyrical rap.
Great reaction. This is the second song of six songs from her EP " Old enough". It starts with her visualizer "Love don't let me go". There are no videos for the last 4 songs, but that should not stop you from reacting to them. You can play the songs randomly, but there is a story that goes through the EP. It is a MASTERPIECE.

Buckeye, thanks for your reaction. I feel Angelina's voice far more than any other singer in my 65 years. Many have said Angelina is the female Elvis. She even does the lip curl at times. In 2 days, Angelina will be performing on the same stage where Elvis did from 1969 to 1976. This was an original song and Angelina has told us she has written more than 100. Here is the list of the 12 originals we have been blessed with.

Angelina wrote new lyrics for two famous songs by Amy Winehouse, "Back to Black" and "Rehab" since it was inappropriate for a preteen to sing the original lyrics. For "Back to Black" Angelina wrote the new lyrics in the 24 hours prior to the recording, then needed just two takes.

I wish she would make more vids for her new music. They don't need to be complicated. As far as vids, this wasn't complicated, just a bw vid her singing in a single room and a camera moving around, yet it's awesome, gets views, and gives the opportunity for people to discover her. That's all she needs, is people to hear her once. That's how she has gained most of her fans, youtube vids. It would be similar to what comedians do nowadays, put out free youtube vids or specials to increase ticket sales out on the road.

The combination of her talent, her fantastic growth, her unique voice, the profound lyrics and the beauty of the emotions they convey leave me simply enchanted, grateful to have met her 10 years ago and to have had the pleasure of being able to follow her incredible evolution over the years. The mix of styles, timbres, voices, genres and tones that this girl manages to use is incredible, it's not only a question of her primary jazz training, which she has developed excellently, but also of all the musical sources that she has absorbed in these wonderful years of experimentation and training, which she reworks and connects in a unique way, like the true artist she is. I still can't decide which song I prefer, 6 new songs are too much to digest at once, but I loved every minute spent listening to this EP. Buckeye, you are so good with your observations and analysis. You seem to hit it on the money every time. Angelina's goal in doing this six song EP was to make it current but retro to the 1960s. Apparently she succeeded since you picked right up on it! She has approximately a dozen original songs, that is as of now. Her new album which should come hopefully this year, will have several additional new songs. Keep in mind that Angelina can be cryptic in her lyrics. Love doesn't have to be romantic for example. It can be love for a family member or a way of life or a career or other. It's up to the listener to interpret the way he or she hears it. I hope you're doing well and I'm looking forward to more! Angelina has been writing songs since she was 10 years 0ld - So far 12 have been released: Oslo, What is Life?, Shield, Million Miles, 7th Heaven, Love Don't Let Me Go, Now I'm The Fool, Fire and Rain, All My Fault, Good in Goodbyes, Diamond, and Our Time. Angelina has stated that she has written about 100 songs that have yet to be released. Her songs are taken from her Journal writings. When she was 10/11 she rewrote the Lyrics to Amy Winehouse's Back to Black and Rehab to make them more age appropriate at that time. She also performed a new song at her recent Las Vegas concert that has not been officially released: Princess of Ruins.
