I really enjoyed this reaction. I love The Warning because they are authentic, kind, humble ROCK STARS who defy so many of the current record industry expectations. It feels like you connect because you care deeply about the same things. As a fellow believe in kindness, hard work, humility, individual expression, and connection through sharing what you love (I assume everyone here has rock music on their list), it is so nice to find someone online who speaks my language. Keep doing what you're doing, not a damn thing to be embarrassed about here.

I feel blessed to have grown up in the 60s and 70s when there was so much good music about in the public eye, and to still be around in a time I consider a renaissance for good music, even though it's more hidden away now (with the popular focus being on material I mostly find totally uninteresting). My musical "bucket list" keeps growing and shrinking as I get the chance to see newer bands live (Nightwish, Sabaton, Babymetal, NanowaR of Steel, Home Free, The Warning, The Longest Johns); and I've done some gap-filling (Judas Priest, Peter Gabriel). I think the only ones I've got left on my list are Blackbriar, dArtagnan, VoicePlay, and Steam Powered Giraffe, and the last two aren't likely to come anywhere near me (even if VP went back to performing live). Wonderful that I've nabbed so much! Enjoy.

"Show Them" was created jointly with BAND-MAID during TheWarning's visit to Japan. Yeah, country life is weird anymore. People seem to be losing the casual thread. A deputy sheriff moved-in nearby that drives 70 down my gravel road. Another neighbor put up 10-billion lumen LED lights. So, now I can read in the front yard at night 1/4 mile away. The farmer to the South parked a grain auger right on the property line behind my house -- aimed like a cannon at my upstairs window. The woman 1/8 mile south has turned into a "karen." I remember helping her mom move their outhouse to a new hole one summer, and now she's going off at me over cat smells on her property -- while recording it on her phone. The most my grandparents dealt with was the spinster down the road listening-in on the "party line" phone system we used to have. JEEZ! ••• PEACES!!!
