@@iseetrees7830 I don't know, it works for me. Start with a "New Scan", "Unknown Initial Value" as the Scan Type, "4 Bytes" (or "All") as the Value Type and doing the "First Scan". Afterwards click on "Hit Me" in the Tutorial, choose "Decreased Value" as the Scan Type and scan with "Next Scan". Afterwards click on "Hit Me" in the Tutorial again, let "Decreased Value" as the Scan Type and scan again with "Next Scan". Repeat this last step again and again if you want to strictly follow the Cheat Engine Tutorial instruction and not differ from it. But beware: If you scan with "Decreased Value", after you already scanned, without clicking on "Hit Me", you will lose the correct value because the value stayed the same and you only scanned for the decreased values... Beware²: You have to change the Value to exactly 5000. If you change it to anything else, even if it is much higher than the required value like to 50000 for example, it won't let you proceed either. I can't think of anything else that could be the problem...

I find the tutorial was hard to follow....and this video is showing things that aren't in the tutorial, too.
