    12:51 You were doing so well, but your etymology of the term "doughboy" is horsecrap. American infantry were being referred to as "doughboys" in the Mexican-American War (1846-1848). The US Army uniforms at that time, of course, were blue. The truth is that no one has a definitive, authoritative answer to the origin of the term. I also don't know what bakery you've been to but I'm not aware of any olive drab colored dough. As well as variations in color that varied from mustard green to brown.

      I think you got me on that one, John. I wonder what my source was, and why I believed it. By coincidence, I know all about horse crap, because we just hauled some home for the garden.
