This is my first time listening to this podcast and I am hooked. Love Rizza and his flow I also love the smoothness of your voices and the knowledge. You have a new subscriber. My grandmother used to make us pick a word in the dictionary and we had to spell it and use it at least twice in a sentence EVERY DAY!! Annnnnd we had to learn a fact from the Encyclopedia Brittanica...Yes the actual books that door to door salesmen sold us.

Actually, the sacrifices for fame & wealth on all major platforms is indeed real, speaking from my own personal experiences alone, so everyone saying so isn't completely wrong about lots of folks "sudden come ups" who didn't inherit wealth or hit the lotto. It's actually quite scary how many people in our neighborhoods, higher ed systems & families partake of these evils on the daily. The key is to get educated in order to avoid them rather than call everyone crazy or conspiracists.

I’ve been to an air bnb that was a plantation house. It was advertised, but it was CLEARLY a slave house. It had this tall high grass in the bac. The house was visibly 3 floors but only had 2 flights of stairs which is typical so that the slave quarters weren’t visible. Locced hidden doors in the bathroom and pantry. This was South Carolina. All the houses on the bloc looked the same but down the bloc and across the tracs was the HOOD

I struggled for 40 years trying to hide problems that no one else seemed to struggle with. It affected my functioning and my ability to fully succeed in life. As it 😮turns out my dysfunctional and estranged mother suffered from ADHD. My ADHD is extremely severe. Everything that can be said about ADHD describes me to a T. Dexedrine has changed my life and allowed me to be the person that I deserve to be. ADHD is a neurological disorder and there is a push to get it classified as a medical condition, instead of a mental health condition. I'm sure there are far too many people who are misdiagnosed and don't need this medication. But please do not push to take it away from those of us do. I can bear witness that ADHD is real, and that Dexedrine has helped me tremendously as a long-term maintenance medication with no negative side effect. However, there are a lot of newer psychotropic drugs which are being prescribed for depression and I definitely agree with him that most of those drugs do more much harm than any benefit they provide. I personally will not accept any prescription for any psychotropic drug that has not been on the market for 50 years.
Many are also "neurodivergent".
I think he’s mostly speaking of the needless amount of people that are given this label, for instance there is a push to diagnose people with certain nurological / divergent conditions. There is an agenda behind it but it in no way invalidates your experience.
I'm right there with you! Been on SSI over 20 years, mental illness they said. If I took all the medicine they threw at me my God. They had me on 13 pills a day at 1 point. I go fill the prescribed medications and never took them. I'm different not crazy
