How's it going, Metalheads?
These no distortion videos are always really fun for me, specially when it's a Death video. And I know you love those...
I thought of making it more organic and less edited this time. I missed making simpler videos like this, so I thought it suited well for this one.

The clean version really did the song justice. Truely an incredible cover.
It sounds more like some exotic traditional music shit when the electric guitar part parts aren't distorted
Damn this kicks ass, sounds so good clean. Glad u played the acoustic part clean on electric as the hammer ons wouldn’t have sounded as smooth I reckon due to the high action on an acoustic
I performed this at my Farewell this year, but after I was done I realised that there is a lack of comprehension amongst everyone in my batch to hear this powerful composition, which actually holds the power to speak for your soul.
Seeing people yawn to this piece really hurt me, and TBH I shed a tear to it in the middle for both the piece and the insult. Someone shouted THIS GUY MESSED UP!! BOO!! which made me go mad. Lucky that I wasn't playing any thrash metal, or that guy was dead!

A metalhead neighbor of yours Pakistan, and I feel the same way. I've felt that way on stage too and that's why I rarely perform at these events. To the person in the comments asking what OP meant by "farewell", they probably meant a batch/class event for the graduating class where people get together and there's usually some theme or it's kept formal and then random things like stage performances or dancing, photoshoots, dinner, etc. It's basically a memorable thing, pretty common across institutes in South Asia.
Did you expect people to burst into tears or something?
Metal and Death is not for everybody, but the audience treating you like that is just disgusting. Don't let that stop you from playing more live!

This song is exactly what its title says. It's the voice of Chuck's soul screaming so intensely that it echoes through the heavens.
Buddy, I can't find the right words to describe this cover. Mainly because it's hard to describe intense emotions. Simply mesmerizing.

Also something I'd like to point out, after the 24th fret bend at 3:03, Chuck does a slide on the low string before playing the next phrase, sadly I've never seen it on a cover, nor on any tabs I've seen for this song

Essa música me faz lembrar de tantas coisas ao mesmo tempo que evito ouvir, por causa de uma época negra na minha vida que mergulhei de corpo e alma em músicas instrumentais e no Álbum The Sound of Perseverance. Parece que o Chuck queria ter uma conversa intima com o ouvinte no Symbolic e expressar o que ele sentia em regiões abissais de sua Alma em The Sound Of Perseverance. A versão sem distorção é tão linda que nem sei o que dizer, só sentir ( e talvez chorar 😂 )
