If they ever make a new NiGHTS game they might as well make a 3rd game and seriously make some Improvement. NiGHTS been underated for quite sometime and who know when NiGHTS will ever return outside of small cameos.
Honestly, I think the franchise needs to be rebooted instead of just getting a new sequel.
There's no point about continuing the story of Journey of Dreams, and giving NiGHTS a new beginning would make things easier for the general public and the pretty much the rest of the series.

Its Reala, and oh definitely. He didn't think she would scream that ridiculously. I never played Nights, but I always thought as a kid that Nights and Reala should've switched names since I thought Nights was a girl and Reala was a dude. They're names go more with their looks and personalities.

Idk if I’m the only one who thinks this, but I think it’d be cool if they did a Sonic and Nights crossover game. Idk like Sonic gets trapped in the dream world or something and he and Nights team up against their respective enemies. It sounds intriguing nonetheless

If I were to make a sonic/nights crossover, I would start by having the nightmarens resurfacing in eggman's head, and after having a nightmare, eggman decides to create a machine that can open a rift between the real and dream world. All the nightmarens would appear, and, bada boom, big adventure.

Also the Night Dimension itself exists and is real and has locations, but the little towns and changing areas are considered Nitopia, created by visitors with Idyea. It’s confusing I know, but the dimension that NiGHTS, Reala and all the “Dream Cast” live in is real, and then the visitors create little worlds in that larger world like pop up stores.

Okay, I think I can answer a few questions with MY view on things.
When people are asleep for the first time, a dream dimension is created specifically for them. Part of their conscience is projected into the dimension and they can control what is in their dimension and how it works. They're also given a guide (Owl.) and a supposed assistant (Nights). It may even refer to age. If you're young, Nights comes along and helps you fly, but when you grow up, you learn to fly on your own. Nights is more of the training wheels of a bike.
If they have nightmares, they appear in the dimension as the Nightmaren. Both Nightmares and Dreams may affect this world.

Imma be honest sometimes I feel like NiGHTS is Sega's version of Kingdom Hearts. Wiseman is like Xemnas or some shit. And his weird as looking nightmarens are the creepy ass dusks from the nobodies.

Nights came out first in the mid-90s, but I can definitely see where SEGA was likely inspired by KH for this game, since the first game used a very different artstyle aside from the enemies and rings.

It's a free software called Krita! In my opinion, the absolute BEST alternative to Photoshop, since customizing brushes is so easy, but lacking in the effects department, at least compared to Photoshop.
It's always nice to see Krita get love ^v^

Man charri i really want a NiGHTS sequel. I had Ideas for a new NiGHTS game. Such as custom characters and daydreaming. The makers of NiGHTS said that they wanted to let the players feel close to NiGHTS by making her a dream. I have a few choice words to say to that.
We are going to forget our dreams because thats how ot works, if we have custom characters, then ot's easier to keep the memory there. Then again thats only if SEGA and sonic team pulls it off right. I don't want them pulling a sonic forces on NiGHTS, where the custom character is amazing bit the gameplay and game length is underwhelming.
Also I have a question for you, what NiGHTS design do you like more,
Sega saturn NiGHTS, the modern design, or the christmas design. I think there was a Halloween NiGHTS too but I might of been misinformed. Either way it would give all the more reason to make NiGHTS a horror game.😁

Yeah, there's the Classic Saturn/Riders design, the Modern design from this game, the christmas design, and a Halloween costume attached to the Christmas game if you set the Saturn to Halloween.

Technically even the reality we live in now is subjective to each of us, we can only perceive it as individuals with what our own brains make of it. Most of the issues regarding nights are not really issues if you understand more about the real world. Nights is sorta a philosophical mindset game...a DMT trip if you will.

For the first game, I always thought NiGHTS was a dude, but just built with a slightly subtle feminine figure, physically and fashionably. In this game, however, it's definitely a lot more feminine, physically and vocally. I realize it's supposed to be genderless, but if they really intended us players to determine its gender from our own individual perspectives, they made it a hell of a lot more difficult to do so this time around cuz it really just comes as a female to me in this game, as opposed to seemingly male in the previous game.
