This is the way Club Car lifts their carts. I drive one at work that's 10 years old with 23 x 10.50s with a utility box and regularly pulling a 12' trailer. We've never had a problem with it, twisting & flexing or otherwise.

Z plates are the dumbest lift anyone could create I have them on a golf cart I bought and the whole thing rocks like a boat in the ocean . Also made the frame crack in multiple places

i would never cut the frame and teplace it with any brackets....waste of cart
