Our feelings and instincts are our guidance system.. The channel "Potential Techniques" did a video about the importance of seeing and remembering and paying attention to that, and how it helps to pay attention to how we feel or our gut instincts about people or situations or things we would like to do or feel we wish to avoid even when other people are saying different.. It's worth checking out
I like this analogy when viewed in a broader context. In order to grow, we must first cast off our current limitations. After which, we can construct a new model with a broader and more expansive potential.
Exactly just look at when you workout your body goes through stress and breaks down and then ur muscles comes stronger. Just one word of advise guys no matter what just never give up. I know sometimes can be tough but just toughen it up even if it takes 1 year because know this will only make u stronger for days to come. Be a warrior female or male. And defend yourself in honor and light. And don't ever be a pushover
Yes. Thank you. Just reminding that there is a however we have to consider: too much stress or chronic stress leaves sequels. Sometimes it leaves one mayhem. So we need to be very careful.
B"H Thank you for your wisdom and insight. I'm going through a very rough time in my life and your videos not only gives me hope but they put a smile on my face. Thank you, Rabbi.
I work with people recovering from alcohol and drug addiction and share this video daily! It provides a good message on how people are going to be uncomfortable at times and how to use adversity in a positive way-- lobos this message!!
These videos of Rabbi Twerski and Ken Robinson's video on education were the reasons I loved CZcams when it first started. So insightful and nourishing. I've been coming back to these videos since they are first uploaded. Rest in peace Dr. Twerski and Sir Ken Robinson.
the parallel i draw is that human muscles grow under stress as well. and of course that we have many opportunities grow emotionally and in our value to ourselves and others if we focus on learning from our own times of stress and disruption. very inspiring. thanks for posting this Jinsider!
Truly thank you for sharing this wisdom. Sometimes it is the right analogy and the right timing. These words helped put the last nail in a coffin that I had been struggling with for years.
Loooooooooove it great analogy ( lobster ) ... so true being uncomfortable and adversity are tools for immense growth . Especially when one makes it through to the other side it elevates our faith and hope and self esteem too !
I love these videos and have learned alot. Adversity can be a postive stimulus and a negative one as well. It is how it is perceived by the individual.
And R. Twerski said: Those who grow do so under large rocks. R. Jose Said: Those who grow under rocks know not of growth for they live in fear R. Gamaliel said: Even the strongest warrior needs a respite from battle during which he may heal -inside joke on classical rabbinic literature.
Wise man , truly wisdom comes from your thoughts. May God of heaven and earth give you a long ,healthy, and all means of life. May his face shine upon you and your loved one my dear rabbi.
I saw an ad on TV, not that I watch it, but it was on in the lobby while I waited for my class to start, and it had an ad for a prescription drug for people who cry. It was supposed to help you stop crying. I couldn't believe it.
Thanks Mr. Jones, I'm almost done anyway but like this definitely helps. 2 more days of school, 1 day of Yom Kippur, and then I've got the whole break to take a break, see u Tuesday
That's a good point well made.. it's easy to forget, Our feelings and instincts are our guidance system, not something to be sedated or suppressed but a guide for us in life.. The channel "Potential Techniques" did a video about the importance of seeing and remembering and paying attention to that, and how it helps to pay attention to how we feel or our gut instincts about people or situations or things we would like to do or feel we wish to avoid even when other people are saying different.. Hi There! I found your video threw a photographer named Frank De Mulder. I really liked your video because it applies to so many things in life. We are all about relationships so I had to share this tip with our followers. I love how you give important advice in such a funny and entertaining way. Cheers! Just subscribed and looking forward to more!
It's amazing what you can learn from trief animals. Next time he'll talk about snakes shedding their skin. Then again, he presupposes that the lobster is feeling confined and magically creates it's new shell. This is great advise. Give the man a yasha koach.
I mean.. it doesn't correlate perfectly, but his point is that you have to feel some pain in order to know you are growing. However, that doesn't mean excessive amounts of pain are fine or normal. Stress should merely point you to making a fix.
Love this video. I plan on sharing in a presentation. Could you please clean up the captions so they are accurate making this video accessible to those who are deaf and hard of hearing?

Brilliant.
You have positive and negative stress in life. Your intuition is your antenna.
Thanks Pulteney.
Perfect explanation.
This man was sent by God
"If we use adversity properly, we can grow through adversity."
wonderful talks, thanks!
Short & tew The Point!!!! ✅💯
That is sooo wise

The moral is: desire never ends.
bullshit
I would mostly agree, but it also stems from a wish to feel satisfaction to stop death anxiety. True liberation is the desire to be free of suffering.
Love this video. I plan on sharing in a presentation. Could you please clean up the captions so they are accurate making this video accessible to those who are deaf and hard of hearing?
Interesting Rabbi. 👍👍❤️
