While self-quarantining together the Fogerty Family recreated the cover of Cosmo’s Factory transforming it to Fogerty’s Factory. The family have also taken to their home studio during this isolation to create some music together, The Family Band.

While the Quarantine continues the Fogerty Family - Shane and Tyler (Hearty Har) and Kelsy - will be joining their Dad for some musical fun covering songs from the classic Fogerty collection.
Another Fogerty, Bob Fogerty who took the original album cover, came in to shoot the re-make. Released in 1970 Cosmo's Factory turns 50 in July and Fogerty's 50 Year Trip continues!

When the Covid-19 outbreak started, I had no idea that John Fogerty was going to be the one celebrity to step up to the plate and really deliver something useful during these times. Way to go John and family.

These are historic times in that the greats do this at this time when they dont have to. I am 67 and John Fogerty and the others such as Neil Sedaka do these things from the heart to help others. What a great pleasure it is after these decades to see these people are still doing fine and its in their blood to perform to provide for others.--for absolutely zero possible financial gain.
For some of these people it was never about the money, many were just too cynical to believe it.

Years back we had a motorcycle club house and the juke box played 5 for a quarter.Green river was our best selection.It played day and nite!👍👍

As far as I can tell Fantasy Records was giving him the rights back starting way back in 2005, I´m pretty sure he has them all back by now but it´s hard to find anything up to date. He´s worth 80 Million as of 2020 so he´s doing well considering how bad the business and so called friends ripped him off. Peace.
p.s. It was indeed very sad and Corporations like that are truly a wretched lot.
@@mercatorjubio3804 Found some more info, he does have the rights back for all of his songs and they (Fantasy I guess) even had to pay the huge costs that had accumulated over the very long court battles. An even sadder story is that of Bad Finger, both songwriters ended up killing themselves over it, one early on and the other years later.
One of the best nights of my life was an all-nighter in Amsterdam in a bar listening to a band cover this song. The Moonhawks, whoever they were.
Still timeless all ways have always will love your music.

50 years ago, when I was in junior high in Southern CA, they would play movies at lunch time. You would see about 20-30 minutes of the movie each day from Monday thru Friday. Whoever the kid was who operated the projector played "Green River" EVERY day over the sound system as you waited for the movie to start. Those of us who met in the auditorium for this every day would laugh and look at each other and say, "Again?" Good thing it was a great song! And here I am, listening again. Loved your book John, what an amazing read.

John and Family thanks for the great music we have always loved and I always learned to play his songs as they came out. I still play them on my guitars. His songs where some of my first songs I learned to play on guitar in the 70's and still play them today.

FYI, I fist saw you with CCR at Oakland Coliseum, I believe it was 1972 or 1973? Tom had already left the band. I was 13 years old. My older brother brought me. Great music and super memories!!

My oh my, have the times changed. One of the true geniuses of the 60's & 70's still sounds fantastic and his body of work is as timeless as it is charming. Love the family angle that this goddam virus has wrought -- maybe the ONLY thing about it that is fun, in the moment. Thank the gods that CZcams, for all its faults, exists -- and is so accessible. You can work at your PC or whatever and listen to stories from the one and only John Fogerty. Amazing.

I have a feeling that when historians look back on this difficult time, these simple, wonderful family musical performances by an American icon and his children are going to be important historical documents. There's much more here than warm feelings of nostalgia. This is cutting straight through all of the politics and the fear, and connecting on a different plane. Thank you for thinking of this idea.
