FACT Zimbabwe Nyanga Youth Project

The Nyanga Youth project works with people (18-35 years) from Nyanga district in Manicaland Province. The project empowers young people through livelihood initiatives, market-oriented farming, income-generating activities, self-employment, and strengthened business management skills. Through support from Tearfund Netherlands, solar-powered micro-irrigation schemes were established at Mundenguma and Chimusasa Gardens. The schemes now allow project participants to draw water from the Gairezi River for horticultural initiatives. Church leaders also play an integral role by providing holistic ministry to their congregants and are actively involved during project implementation, coordination, and monitoring.
