Hello everyone! In this video, I am going to teach you 'The Best Card Trick In The World'. This is a trick that was uploaded on to CZcams over 10 years ago - I've left a link to the original performance below this text! The original video has over 20 million views and is the first card trick I ever learnt and was what inspired me to become a magician. This is my performance and tutorial of the same trick - I hope you enjoy watching the video and that it inspires some of you to learn and master the art of deception as it did to me many years ago.
The trick itself is a simple card trick that is very easy to do. You need to know a double lift and a basic card control and then you are all set. The effect includes the spectator's card turning red not once but twice. The ending of the card trick is also a kicker too. I really hope you enjoy learning it!

I must have watched the same CZcams video you did over 10 years ago. It was also the first trick I learned and got me started in card magic. Thanks for sharing with the next generation of future magicians. This is always my opener.
I do not usually like tricks that involve an "Oops, that didn't work" segment, but this one flows through that with a subtle elegance.
I have seen many videos regarding magic tricks and especially card tricks. But I have never seen such beautiful production. The sound, the voice over, the quality, the intro, the demonstration, editing everything is top notch. You are very underrated.

You can look it up for further presentations, tips , variations in certain situations etc. to suit to your needs. Its an old classic called the Chicago opener or red hot mama

The main thing these CZcams card trick videos have taught me is how devilishly impossible even the most basic moves - like a "simple" double lift - are... if you haven't practiced them for a VERY long time until they become just automatic :D

Don't generalize. It might have gotten you interested. I almost skipped the video because of it. I know I want to see a magic trick and how it's done (that's why I came to the video), i don't need the intro. Also, I felt like it's a lot of unnecessary work to animate that.

A nice variation of this is to perform the trick as normal up to the point where the red card is "double lifted" then, instead of placing the red card on the table after revealing it to be their first choice, place it inside a container or place an object on top of the red card like a heavy book or something similar.

The Chicago Opener!đâ€
Ive always known this as Red Hot Mama. Been doing this trick for about 11 years. Always great reactions and very easy to set up. If I am ever in a place with a red and blue deck, I set this up without anyone seeing then wait til someone asks me to do a trick. Ill act like I'm caught off guard but then roll right into this routine. Great video!

I know how to fix a mistake in time 4:29. When you have 10oD at the bottom of the package, your goal is to get 10oD at the top of the package. This is done by stirring. Then you let the spactator select any card and place it on top of the deck (he must not look at it). Then just do a double lift to think he chose 10oD. You will do a double lift again so that all cards are turned the same. Then you complete the magic as in the video (5:00)

This is also the first card trick I learned 10 years ago on CZcams, canât find the original vid but awesome to have a refresher from the new magicians on the block
Watch the video by Michael Ammar...'Red Hot Mama'...this is the same exact trick. The second card selected or forced on the spectator is done by use of the Hindu Shuffle. Check it out.
