- On The Road! Yep! Back again! It's ground ONE HUNDRED!! But as usual with me, things often don't go to plan. Adapt and overcome! Rather than give you nothing, here's some from Dronfield Town way down in Step 6 of the Non League ladder, the lowest we've been to date!

Gutted I didn’t know you’d turned up to watch. I played in the game 😂 Dronfield - Number 4. Been watching since day dot, when you consider we’re the only club not to pay players at this level, the clubs facilities are unbelievable and we’re not doing too bad in terms of league position. Class video again. UTT 🔴⚫️

*Nerd alert*. Technically, it's a wooden spool table probably used as a cable reel. You can get them on eBay for a tenner.

Those circular wooden table like things you saw are called cable drums and are mainly used in warehouses to store hundreds of metres of tubing and cables. Even though there secondary use nowadays is to be makeshift coffee tables for hipsters

Those wheel things are reels for cable. Cable that is used for fiber optics and similar things. FOOTBALLLLLLLL

Congrats on 100 mate-What a journey you've been on.
A lesson to all clubs about communicating better with your fans. Sheffield F.C. could have been featured but Smiv ended up at a lower league side, had a reasonably good time and gave them some good exposure.

Congrats on your "ground 100th"!! A fan since last year when I found the Pride Park video. As a huge football fan from South Korea 🇰🇷, we never have the chance to see non-league football here. I just love the atmosphere of non-league football. (A.F.C. Rushden & Diamonds being one of my fav teams. I honestly don't know why but I do. Lol) Anyways, keep up the good work Smiv!! You’ve definitely got to come up and see Chesterfield soon. Not too far from Sheffield FC and Dronfield Town. 97 years in the football league before being relegated a few seasons back. Looks like we’re well on our way back to the promise land… a fairly new ground, shambolic refereeing and most importantly, we serve Dr Pepper! What do you want from the National League?!

To be honest Matt, Dronfield Town was your third time down into the 10th tier (step 6) of English football (Thurlow Nunn League Div. 1 - Coggeshall Ut 2020/21 and Hashtag Utd 2018/19). Cheers, Matt! Smiv! The wooden table that you are asking about are what high tension electrical wires are shipped on. I think it’s a spool of wire. I cold be wrong but that’s what it looks like. Brilliant video as usual. Thanks for highlighting clubs we wouldn’t normally see.

those ‘big wagon wheel tables’ are actually old used cable reels they are used to hold a lot of high voltage cables

Them tables are cable drums, you wrap the thick cable round them and the hole on top and bottom is to roll the cable out like toilet roll

Hi Smiv, top vid as always.... You should check out sandygate, Hallams ground. been getting some amazing attendances for the level they are at. Atmosphere is bang on... especially on non league day.... Also if you are going to replan Sheffield FC. Maybe come when they finally move back to Sheffield in the new stadium!
Get up to Wrexham sometime. Oldest international ground in the world. Owned by supporters since owners tried to destroy the club. Bought by Ryan Reynolds and Rob Macelhenney during 2020. Always love the videos Smiv👍
Smiv, gotta get yourself down to the south-west for an Exeter City game, obviously a long way for you travel but there’s a cracking atmosphere and I can sort you parking less than a minute from the ground. Up the Grecians

Come down to Weston super mare , just down the road from Bristol and has players on show like Scott laird who scored for Preston against Man united in 2015 and pushing for the play offs in The southern premier always 500 plus there it’s the biggest capacity per home game in that division

Hi..I'm new to your channel.This is hillarious,Dronfield is where I live !! Sheffield FC will move soon to a new ground purposley built for them,the old ground is rumered to be developed for new housing.Will you do a post on Yeovil Town please? It's where I was born,I recall going to the old ground which had 8ft slope,very strange .Thanks for your posts.
