Vancouver got to the second round where it took 10 years for the leafs to do that.

It was actually 19 straight seasons. Before 2023 their last 2nd round appearance was 04'

Leafs 1967.......Canucks 1970......Not a big difference, is it?

we got some AWESOME pieces here right now.....Miller in his prime, Future Hall Of Fame Defenceman/Captain Quinn Hughes entering his prime years, Maybe one of best coaches Nucks have ever had (mad shoutout to the late Pat Quinn) and probably the best 1 -2 goalie punch in the league....
if Management/Owner can make the right moves...the 5-7 year window here looks great....especially with prospects like Lekkeramaki and Willander waiting in the wings
on that note cuz i'm curious....who else would trade Demko & Joshua for Nylander?? (rumoured this is being discussed as Leafs need to shake up core group...probably great move for Leafs too)
I would, especially now that we know Silovs can perform
imagine Pettersson centering Nylander and Lekkeramaki...exactly what Petey needs

Shouldn't the fact that the TV market in NY is far from saturated make a finals appearance more attractive? A saturated market watching is good in the short term, but let's face it, most people will already he back next season.
In NY, you can make quite a few new fans who might stick with it and contribute to long-term growth.

Out with all the players that disappeared in the playoffs as they were undersized and could not handle the physicality. I know they are big name players but they are only relevant in the reg season. We can get alot of value for them before they fail again in next yrs playoffs. Must bring back Dakota Zadorov and Lindholm. Garland should be part of the future plans as well. To save money we can even move from Demko and ride Desmith and Silovs moving fwd.

Half the salary cap goes to four players, you cannot improve the team in other areas. There's still a lot of change that's required with the Leafs starting with a number one goalie.

It’s become a gladiator sport.on a par with WWF😂.players freely admitting that they try to hurt somebody every shift.End their night and maybe a career. Why?because it sells tickets.never mind the players who put their ass on the line.Fans want blood and the sport be dammed. In the woke capital of the country and maybe the planet ,Vancouver will never see a Stanley Cup.Sad but true.Maybe next year?I don’t like their chances.
