The lady is correct. This is the greatest girl group in the world with 3 fluent English (2 native) speakers in the group. The group itself is an international girl group consisting of Jennie from New Zealand, Rosé from Australia, Lisa from Thailand, and Jisoo from South Korea. They are on a level above all other musical groups male or female when it comes to multilingual speaking, singing and rapping with a clear delineation in English fluency above BTS and any other individual or group singers. The girls are fluent in Korean, English, Japanese, Thai, and simple Mandarin. They are language geniuses.

No, but for native English speakers we can tell the difference and for me personally as a native English speaker, that edge in the English language plays a huge part when you’re trying to sing and rap in English. BTS is levels behind BlackPink in that department.

Just to let you know in the beginning it's so cool that it starts with Jisoo playing a Korean traditional instrument called Geomungo. Geomungo is a representative stringed instrument made in Goguryeo, Korea before the 5th century. The whole song is a tribute to 90's - 2000's Rap and Pop music and aesthetic.
Thank you for letting me know the name of that instrument... I love the sound of it.
Plus Jisoo said she used to play that instrument when she was a teenager.

A great way to hype the title track and upcoming album. HYLT and ICE CREAM has an MV but were Bside from THE ALBUM. They also promoted DKWTD and FY.

Its always fun to see youtubers discover BP for the 1st time. In my opinion they are on another level and I totally agree with you, they step up from kpop and create their own unique sound. Fun fact: BP doesn't do green screen, all you see in all their M/V (except short few seconds on 'whistle') were build sets.

She have a YT channel called "LILI FILMS" where she posted dance videos or tour films. She's the main dancer, lead rapper, sub-vocalist and maknae (youngest) of the group.

Yes, you're right ma'am. When it comes to English Speaking they're superior than all other kpop groups. 3 members are so fluent in speaking and Jisoo is still learning with her teacher Jennie. Jennie studied in New Zealand, Rosé was born in New Zealand and Grew up in Australia with an Aussie Accent. Lisa was born in Thailand with an American Chef Step Dad. Jennie, can also read both English and Korean Faster that's why she is the Main Rapper.
If you want to know how good really Blackpink is in their English speaking check out their Songs like Kill This Love, How you Like That, Love Sick Girls, the entire THE ALBUM songs.
Lisa's step-dad is actually Swiss. His native language is German. He speaks English well, but with a definite German accent. Lisa is capable of speaking English with a perfect American accent. I'm sure she studied quite diligently to get to that point. She's also started copying Rosie's Australian accent for fun.

What a lovely lady! Her enthusiasm is how I feel listening to good music I haven’t heard before and I LOVE it.
I agree... I think Blackpink's ability to switch between Korean and English so fluidly (and the fact that it sounds like their native tongue) really sets them apart from other kpop groups who incorporate english into their lyrics. That and their amazing on-screen presence, confidence, swagger, and talent... Oh and also their personalities and chemistry as a group! You guys should definitely check out their other MVs and the behind-the-scene videos as well. I remember first watching BP, being mesmerized by their performance and then coming to learn more about the girls themselves and then falling completely in love with the group (Lisa is my ultimate girl crush but I love each and every one of them)! Also, I highly recommend watching their coachella stage as well - their first big stage in the US (and one of the most memorable and proud moments as a Blink). I've known of BP since their debut in 2016 but I truly became a fan after getting to know the group better in 2018 after their hit song DDU-DU DDU-DU. The girls are very down to earth and talented!

They sound incredible, their visual and music videos are top notch, the girls are all talented and superb, extraordinarily beautiful.
