Good Video! Man I miss this face, this variousity of Budapest! Nowadays there are only Solaris-Skoda Trollino IV trolleybuses in service, because the BKV has bought more of them. Ikarus 435T and MAN NGE 152 Trolleybuses aren't in service anymore, and from the Ikarus 280T-s there are only 10 Pieces left in service.

Hungarian cities with diverse public transport vehichles and with many Ikaruses are history now. 2019 was so much better, that we have nowadays. The Ikaruses are going out in many cities. For Example I heard that the last Ikarus in Salgótarján will go out on the End of July. So, I wanted to go there on the 28th of July 2023, but the last day was 2 days earlier, so I didn't went there. This sucks, because the Bus HKZ-209 was not only the last Ikarus of Salgótarján, it also was the last operating Ikarus 435 of the world.

But this is not a bus, you did not read in detail the link I sent to the Škoda manufacturer, because if you looked at it, you would find a folder about specifically trolleybuses types which use Škoda equipments for other manufacturers and you would there also find photos of Solaris from Budapest (except for the other 20 types) ...
You have already seen that the manufacturer e.g. VW, which uses Bosch electronics, stick the Bosch logo on the body? But mechanics know about it ...
Many SOR buses still run in Hungary, but they were named differently for the Hungarian market, but at the request of the importer.
In Lidl, Kaufland, Tesco, Billa stores etc. in all EU is Camembert made in Slovakia is sold, which is manufactured by TAMI, but LIDL sells it under its own brand Bluedino and Tesco is Tesco ...
In the Russian Federation, Dacia cars are sold under the Renault brand, although half of Renault is ...
Volvo has sold a license to manufacture buses to Turkey and the same bus is manufactured under a different brand, but it is still Volvo bus.
Solaris simply realized that if it wanted to sell competitive and affordable trolleybuses around the world and beat the competition, it had to buy top-notch equipment, and Skoda realized that if Poles knew how to make a quality body cheaper, it didn't make sense to build your own bodywork. they can agree.
Also Ikarus once negotiated with Czechoslovak producers for the supply of diesel engines, gearboxes, because their own at that time were not on the same level, Tatra and Praga were willing to expand production in Slovakia, which the Hungarians did not want to accept, they wanted their own licensed production, so they bought MAN license for engines (Rába-MAN) and ZF licenses for steering, gearboxes (Csepel) and axles ZF (Rába), which depends on who designed the body?
In Poland, there was once a bus manufacturer Jelcz, which produced Czechoslovak Škoda 706RTO buses under license, and have you ever seen the Škoda logo on the body?
But the mechanics knew that everything was either an original Škoda or an original made in Poland under license.
As soon as Solaris manufactures all important devices from its own development independently of other manufacturers without a license, then I will respect this brand as well as the Škoda or Siemens brand.

Integrated propulsion systems of the Polish company Medcom are assembled in Solaris Trolino. Skoda Transportation produces vehicles with its own propulsion systems, based on the Solaris Trolino , models Škoda 26Tr Solaris and Škoda 27Tr Solaris etc. You are still living in the past, today the Polish economy is the most innovative economy among all post-communist countries. Skoda Auto is VW, and comparing the local manufacturer Skoda Transportation to the global Siemens is typical ignorance.

@@springsummer816 I am Slovak and I do not Czechs in love, Moravians are better but I do not live in the past. We all know that the new Tatra Phoenix trucks use DAF engines together with the cab and gear box or Solaris buses use Iveco engines as well as SOR or the former Karosa (Irisbus) and gerboxes ZF, Voith and Alison, ZF rear axles it is clear that the trolino has nothing regards of electric drive system with Polish development it is Škoda electric development.
As for the history of Jelcz MEX272 buses and similar, they had nothing in common with the Polish manufacturer, except for small details, it was licensed production from the Škoda 706 RTO.
The Polish economy is good, I have nothing against it, but distorting the facts is a different matter.

@@heno_3098 It's probably obvious that the modern world is a global production and supply chain, Visit the manufacturer's website and do not repeat mantra, Skoda Electric drive systems are installed only in Skoda, Medcom drive systems are installed in Solaris. I didn't mention anything about Jelcz, so I don't understand why are you mentioning him? Here the matter is obvious.

@@springsummer816 Who goes beyond the facts? I not... Just look here and it will be clear to you from where Solaris trolleybuses have an electric drive system www.skoda.cz/reference/trolejbusy-s-vyzbroji-skoda/?from=prod and not only text, but also photo galery.
Jelcz was an example from the past as constantly when some Poles see the Škoda 706RTO, writing comments that it is Jelcz and this "mantra", because the opposite is true, Jelcz of this type are in fact Škoda. It is similar to when a Russian says that the Tatra 813 is a Czech heavy truck and was in fact developed and manufactured in Slovakia in Bánovce nad Bebravou.
