    I have missed the below command while editing.
    Restart Networking after adding IP address to pnet1 interface: systemctl restart networking
    Also, I have given all the commands in description.

    Awesome video! Was looking for exactly the same thing.
    I have a request too, i am using Pnetlab, on GCP SERVER, how can I connect my Local PC to the topology ? An explanation like this would be super awesome too.
    Also one more request!!! In Pnetlab, again using GCP server, if we enter using console mode, the default Putty opens up. How can we change that to something like MultTabbed Putty or MobaXterm? this will be super helpful too

    Thank you for this guide. Do you know how to SSH to individual nodes in the topology for automation tasks? Thank you.

    • @itideas1835
      @itideas1835  Před rokem

      Connect IOS Device to Management cloud and configure IP address in same Subnet of your PC. Then you can connect your physical PC to Eve-ng.

    Do you know why the cloud connections in eve-ng are so slow?
    At 14:00 it is very slow.
    At the end it is now fast.
    Why is it slow? What is the difference?

    • @summertyme5748
      @summertyme5748 Před 2 lety

      I'm asking because even when I connect directly to PNET 1 - and run speed test, it starts out fast but immediately grinds to a near halt.
      Yet I can run the same speed test directly from eve command line and it is fast. I don't get it. Why it is slow in the 1st place?

    • @itideas1835
      @itideas1835  Před 2 lety

      I think it is slow because of the nested virtualization within EVE NG. If you find any other reasons for slowness, please add the details here so that it will be useful for everyone!

      I would not use a laptop as a lab
      But the one with 16 gb of ram is the best choice by far.
      If I we're you I would buy a cheap laptop for on the go and put all my money into a good desktop pc u can access ur lab from anywhere using a zero tier vpn tunnel for free
