I always love formula drift because you’ll see like a BMW E36 go up against something like a Ferrari 599 or Aston Martin Vantage, and the E36 wins. It’s wild. It’s a different type of skill vs other racing because in most racing it’s 50% car, 50% driver, but in FD it’s 5% car, 95% driver skill
But also judging. It’s like the high dive of motorsport.
you full build almost any decent engine, you’re gonna beat a Ferrari. Put 15k in a 90’s B18 Honda and you gonna smoke F430 all
A track prepped E36 M3 even with stock power would be quicker than both of those on a track anyway. It's definitely not 5% car. Put any of these guys in a car with
idk, these cars have serious power and none of these drivers could win with ONLY 450hp. an amount I'd consider a lot. for them not enough
@@AnonYmous-hu7jo I've had my hands all over that Ferrari, his local practice track is my old place of work. the current turbo set up is 1,000 plus on lowest boost and probably nearly 2,000 all the way up but his tires don't even last 30 seconds.

Any 'sport' with judges or style points seems odd to me. Every normal sport is the fastest, strongest, etc. Not who the judges think is the coolest...

@@nigeldean3726 actually he is very aggressive and either you chase or follow, it makes the other driver be equally aggressive which usually ends up in chaos 😂 Chelsea Denofa(black and yellow Mustang) and Matt field(Falken Vette) are known as the most chaotic and aggressive drivers in FD
The cars are making too much smoke sometimes. Its hard to see the delicate skills being applied by the drivers. Looks like an australian burnout comp.
