There’s a beauty to simplicity. Something that a lot of artists seem to forget: when you give something so much complexity, it just becomes static and white noise. I’ve always preferred this kind of music to any other modern “dubstep” type music.
Dope beat... what happened to the screen? I ask because I am new to the PO game and nervous about how much wear and tear they can handle... this is the second KO screen I have seen damaged
Hello and welcome to the Club! the po, especially the samplers, are really lovely and powerful devices, but sadly not build like Tanks :D i have a few and this is the only one with a defect screen - i cant remember how it started, but it was at first just a little crack and went bigger during time, to its finally size now :) the screen is, mostly, really just a gimmick, i can use it almost without it. especially if you sync it externally etc. just buy a nice case, if you are really into it, beatmakersboutique has great ones - and buy a good Transport case if you wanna travel with them. peli 1020, available via thomann for example, is good for those cases, but there are a lot of different out there. just protect that little gem, its worth it :)
@@derbymachtsachen I have 4 now that I have picked up in the last few weeks and 3 of them were hard to find so nervous about them breaking... The KO i ordered from TE but i see now cases are really important... The rubber cases from TE look and feel great but i found a company called Dich Studios thats makes a superior case... I feel I will be ordered more cases from them now haha... thanks for the information... Looking forward to hearing more of your music...
@@derbymachtsachen I definitely will... i think despite the name pocket operator they will stay in my lab either way haha... Ill get my samples with my field recorder or ipad and input them... I have seen people replace the knobs... that will also be on my list... they are just such fun devices to play and experiment with... Looking forward to some syncing and maybe even inputting to an OP-Z when it arrives...
@@derbymachtsachen i have a friend who works with sheet metal and a welder I am in talks to have him build me a custom OP-Z backplate to prevent the bending i here him talk about... When I have the meeting maybe I will show him a PO and see if he has any ideas on a metal case for them as well...
