gixxers true! just because they are pricier than the competition! I own the 150, someone gave me a honda saying see no vibration and all, I felt no, quite vibey 😅 but later I realized, gixxers have very low vibrations, such good and reliable bike!

I had 2 Activa at my home. One used by my brother and one by brother in law. Both had serious engine issues when it reached around 70,000 km.
I recommend to get away from Honda when it comes to scooter bcs it will make us suffer from weak braking system. After switching to TVS Ntorq I've seen perfect braking in entire scooter market.
One observation on the Virtus suspension being harsh, yes it is harsh. I felt that the harshness is higher at 31 psi, when I increased it to 34, it's actually better, the car doesn't succumb as much I feel. Btw, I bought a Virtus topline in March, having owned a polo before that.

I guess he wanted to say that the reliability issues which the virtus have had like the AC issues.. the driver side window not working properly.. and the interior quality specially at that price makes it a bit overrated.. at the end of the day if you have only 1 car which would not be a project car so take tuning and mods out.. you need a reliable car with the fun it provides.. it’s not a fun car if you have to go to the service centre every month for small issues.. I’ve had the duster previously the 110ps engine from the first lot and trust me that car was in the workshop for almost 4 months once.. It was a beast of an engine and amazing handling and ride quality but the expenses and frequent visit to the workshop made it a bitter experience overall.. As an enthusiast i would still choose that over any other compact or pseudo SUV to go for a road trip but my family won’t share that enthusiasm with me.. So yea the Virtus is a bit overrated
Just a suggestion guys, can someone please put some thought into how those mics and pop filters are placed? Why not keep them on the other side of the speakers so that they obstruct the frame a little less? And also lower so that they dont cover their faces of the speakers. Make them a little less obtrusive. Thanks.
Why Gixxer 250 is soo underrated in India?? It has the looks, performance and can easily smoke all the 250s in the segment, yet it is on the verge of extinction...
The service and sales experience isn't as good from what i heard and there are some niggles with it as well many have reported of vibrations post 6K on the odo teambhp has some threads on the vibration thing

@@ducatimultistradav4850 I own a bs4 Gixxer SF 250, the experience has been incredible . The service is great if you're in a big city and at a reputed showroom. Coming to the vibrations, even the salesmen agree that bs6 has brought in slightly more vibrations but at the end of the day it is a single cylinder ICE motorcycle vibrations are a part of the experience.

100% agree with Virtus being overrated.. I have a City and was going to "upgrade" to Virtus but just couldn't pull the trigger due to how uncomfortable a drive it is.
- Disagree. It's not as squishy or overtly soft as a City and it doesn't need to be. It is comfortable and the ride gets better as the speed increases and more stable at higher speeds.

my 2 cents on the rc390 point that Varun brought up:
i dont think it is under-rated as everyone knows what performance it can deliver. yes, varun's point about it being more versatile is true, but there is only a double digit number of rc390 buyers who are racing on Sunday, going to work on Monday, then going for Dosa rides on Friday. For the general public, the 390 platform is still recognized as an "extremely powerful" bike.
about the function over form part:
i think ktm very intentionally made the front look like that, so its not that they focused more on function. if they stuck with the previous generation front look and did all the new changes, then you can say that they focused on function over form. otherwise, the front is very clearly intentional (as cyrus said, it looks so eugh)

Rightly said.... All Polo owners will/ would move to Virtus as an upgrade for sure. Nothing from Korea would impress with bigger HP numbers... German cars are far better for pure driving pleasure.
You know i have a polo gt and would probably get a virtus. But not anymore, its overrated and now im gonna upgrade to the Bolero Neo. 😊 vw has crappy plastics while the bolero neo has everything top notch. Well, thats what i learnt here.
Activa is a perfect example for a marketing student for branding. Activa is something that richest of the richest own as well as the rags , there's no inferiority factor. this is a big factor ,let alone the reliability and service.

I picked up an Ignis from Zoomcar. Boy-oh-boy it was so much fun to drive!
Surprised that no MG car was mentioned, with the kind of quality they provide it's certainly underrated.

Quality is unmatchable in its segment.

The Gurkha should've stuck to the 2.2 engine that they had in the middle. I can compromise on the shitty interiors, but to me engine is downright disappointing compared to the thar.

Honda CB350 owner here, it launched in December i think, i got mine in january. Rear alloy cracked, same problem with a few other CB's as well when ridden over a nasty pothole. Honda did not cover under warranty. Engine casing fin colour eroding with alllllll the CB's - Honda covered this under warranty and repainted. All the bikes in my batch had engine recall where Honda manufacturing engineers came to the service centre, opened the engine and worked on for an entire day, I forget what the issue was exactly, but it was of course covered under warranty. Running trouble free since then.
RIP to the brains of the people who call 2WD/Two wheel drive huge crossovers like Creta, Seltos, Nexon etc as SUVs😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
After CKD taxes 35-40 % cost of Fortuner in increased plus the royalty Kirloskar pays to Toyota makes it a hefty buy .

truely agree with the fact that the virtus is a overrated car and in that price option its better to go with the xuv 700 petrol mid version like the ax5 which makes more sense
A customer might not want such a huge car like XUV 700 so it cannot make sense that way.
Can someone shed some light on whether honda is planning to get cb750 hornet to India?
Never did podcasts before. Was like, its an hour long. I wouldn’t last 😂. But trust me i did and had to double take at parts, especially when one says they don’t like the 1st gen 390

We have a Activa and a Jupiter in the family, Jupiter is maybe 4-5 months older and has ran at least 4,000 km more, but the Jupiter panels rattle, it is very bad at starting(not just cold start, even if you start it after 10 mins of wait time). And the suspension is almost dead. Jupiter is no where as reliable in the long term as the Activa.
Personally I don't like any scooter so I don't have and personal preference here.

tvs after sales support not at the mark of yanaha Or honda and reliability is a serious issue my wego is really fun to drive and better than activa, but not in terms of reliability it troubles you a lot, throttle cables, starting issue, battery issue, annoying sound, meter failure and lot

Pulsar F250 dual channel abs is one of the MOST underrated bikes on it's way to extinction
To sum up virtus is overrated. Harsh to drive, quality is bad. Bolero neo is underrated. It has the GOAT old scorpio chassis. Triumph tiger sport is as good as a 390. In a previous podcast scorpio n was a favourite. Compares verna to aston martin. I can clearly see his amazing sense of taste in cars and am absolutely blown away by his thoughts. He loved his swift cos it would conk off at every signal. That dexterity. He reviews the virtus and verna with such enthusiasm while cyrus reviews that trash can, microwave oven inspired, green car 😂.

Do an episode on tax component on new car purchases, spares, tires, fuel etc and TCO of cars.. add to it average income of Indians
Pulsar is not overrated. it sells bcz its reliable in the long term.
And TVS is not issues free.
its just that issues dont arise soon. its in long term ownership TVS has severe issues like rusting on Chassis, Engine problems, Clutch plate issues , Paint issues, Wiring and electrical issues.

Underrated -Vento - Specially the tsi . It had the same engine as the polo but sold in lesser number . Handles better , better space , huge boot .Now discontinued 😢 overrated - s presso. Considering the numbers sold. Who even considers that a car. Either buy a Alto or a wagon r

RC390 definitely sound a mosquito buzz after its hit by a repellent. Or its just the name it carries today. The riders called as Narangi, Santara, Macchars and they way 95% of te owners ride it, justifies all these slang. A phenomenal bike, on and off the track, I have seen RC390 in good hands beating the shit out of ltr class at MMRT and Kari. But that bike has been plagued by horrible owners antiques and terrible portrayal on chapri insta reels. The another fabulous bike that has met the same fate is Yamaha R15. It was the favorite before anything else happened. But the typical chapri attire, the chappals, skinny jeans, blue or golden hair dos killed it. No offences to any of these owners but thats how it is.
Bahaha true that's why I don't feel like buying r15 even though it's a good one, let alone even look at ktm bikes dude the chapri people DESTROYED ktm😂
