Wow man, it truly means a lot to hear that these joints meant something to you. Yea man back then I was writing all the time. I’m talking about literally all the time. At my old job I was blessed to be able to listen to beats all day and just zone out. I’m talking on paper, on napkins, on pieces of cardboard, in my phone tablet (which I moved away from because I lost soooo many poems in broken phones). I’ve lost entire projects in broken phones. Yo the Alzeus beat was one of the dopest beats I’ve ever heard in my life. I asked for it and he let me use it. What makes that joint special is that his pops is from Africa and that record he sampled is a rare African song. Only time I ever went viral was with Alzeus, we have one track that hit 40k organically. It’s amazing because I never was the type to promote myself, I prefer when people organically stumble upon joints. Also I’ll tell you something else Syntax almost wasn’t on Bless. The original track they wanted to use was a song I did with mind.at.large, but I couldn’t find a wav version. They liked that song so much they were willing to just make it into a wav (which as you know mp3 to wav isn’t anywhere near the same quality wise). So I sent them Syntax as an alternate and they loved it. Yo Bless wasn’t even supposed to have any vocalists on it bro, it was just supposed to be an extraordinary beat tape. I saw they were accepting joints and I asked on a public post if they’d accept lyricists. They replied saying they would if it fit or if they like the song enough. So I was Blessed to be featured on Bless 2, then sent more for them on 3 and they chose Rain. It is truly an honor, because the proceeds of both albums went to a good cause. Luenatic is a brilliant producer as well. He posted an EP we did on CZcams it’s called “the Roy EP”

Lol yes that’s because these were studio recorded. Now I just record poetry with a message for fun and to give honor to God. It’s not pristine sound wise but the message is meaningful. On “Sytax” I was battle mode....I still go at rappers who spread negativity. All that aside, I appreciate you for listening....stay tuned, if it be in God’s will the sound quality will get better. I really appreciate the love. The beauty of the net is that we can be anywhere and still link. Unfortunately, nowadays I don’t have access to the studios that I once did for pristine sound. I record myself, which sometimes sounds like I recorded it in a bathroom stall. I still drop poetry for the love regardless of sound, but I rarely do collabs because most understandably want clean vocals to mix. Both these joints were recorded back in like 2014 or 15.

You’d have to reach out to the producers directly. The Syntax instrumental use to be on Alzeus’ SoundCloud page. The Rain beat was made by Leunatic especially for me, so that one was never posted to my knowledge as a solo instrumental. Both of them are brilliant producers & both have active CZcams accounts. They’re cool too, reach out to them.
