    Hi, Glaire! I do not know if you'll be able to read this, but I am a fresh grad accountancy student here in the Philippines and I do really want to go to Canada and work there as a CPA. I have a research a lot about it already, but it seems that what I really need is to have conversation with someone who has a personal experience about it already. I was browsing the internet when I saw your vid, I hope to talk to you soon.

    Hello Glaire! I’ve been watching your videos & it’s really helpful! Thanks a lot. I have question. I’m a CPA, MBA here in PH with 4 years work exp. I’m planning to get my transcripts assessed by WES to get assessed by CPA western business school. (since CPAWSB is also a DLI) am i on the right track? or is it better to apply first to Langara College? Thank you so much for the help. God bless!

  • @mariaangelicasumayo1195

Just wondering if you could guide me and help through this matter. Thank you so much in Advanced! I was an international student back then but recently received PR. 😊

    Does financial analyst experience valid for CPA practical experience? and do we need to be supervised under CPA Holder? Where we can find those internships? kindly request for answers these three questions.

    Hi Glaire,
    Would you know if you can do CPA prep and CPA while on PGWP? Basically holding study permit for CPA Prep/PEP and PGWP at same time.
    I mentioned CPA Prep because I’m still missing one more course to be admitted for CPA PEP. Need your advise please. I’m seeing articles that says my PGWP will be invalidated if I apply for study permit. Also if you can share if you or you know anyone who is on PGWP and is on CPA PEP. Thank you. Your videos has been very helpful from when was still applying to go to Canada till now.

      Miss you don't need to study again if your a CPA in Phils. Please get your assessment done first. CPAWSB if sa western part ka ng Canada mag aaral or CPA ontario pag sa toronto etc...My friend who was a CPA nag study sya 2 years sa PEP I think pwede nmn ichallenge yata yong CFE which is the board exam ng canada pero she wasn't confident kaya nag aral sya PEP na. No need ulitin ang PREP. Matatagalan ka at you know it already.

    Hi glaire, so if we take post degree diploma in accounting, we will not get any exemptions, but make us eligible to enter into pep.

    • @glaire
      @glaire  Před 2 lety

      Still depends if your program here in Canada actually has all the prerequisite for CPA PEP. Check out my latest vid on which schools have programs eligible for CPA PEP. If you already took some of the prerequisite courses outside Canada, you’ll know more which courses you need to take after the assessment evaluation to your transcript.

    Watching your previous vlogs, nag enroll kayo sa DLI schools and with PGWP, i just have one quick question, Paano po maging PR kung walang IELTS diba? As far as i know IELTS can add your points up to be a PR

    • @glaire
      @glaire  Před 2 lety

      There are two types of IELTS: academic(use for school) and general (use for PR)
      So you still have to take it before you can apply for you PR.

    Hi, I’m a Certified Public Accountant here in the Philippines and will be migrating to Canada soon as a permanent resident, not by express entry.
    Question: Will my CPA title be recognized also in Canada? Or do I have to challenge the Canadian CPA Board Exam? Thanks.

    Thanks for this, Glaire! fellow IS here hehe~ will soon finish my post-sec educ but I had no idea what the next step is in becoming a CPA. Thankfully my program made me eligible into taking CPA PEP! :) taking CFE is nerve-wracking tho 🥲🥲
