- The half marathon at Disneyland Paris was a great run. My fourth time running it at the fourth edition of run disney france's wonderful race. The course was a bit different from last year, with a little bit more time spent in the parks.
Some great Disney characters on the course and great weather made for a great run.
A lot of new and old friends this year. Running in to the same people I had seen on other runs and running together with friends made this a really great race.
Run Disney can still improve on a couple of things though and I will discuss this a bit more in the next video.

Thank you for helping me re live one of the best weekends of the year.
There were so many moments of joy during that race. The shouts of "Allez Phil Allez" really kept me going when i was starting flag a little. The legs get tired but the soul gets lighter when you feel the support of the crowd and other runners who are sharing their moment with you.
Arno, thank you for introducing me to this crazy world of Run Disney and all the wonderful people who are so dedicated to it. By the way, I ran a 1:52 so was Well Happy! Have a good da y'all. Go Skinny.

It was great having you there for the half marathon, looking forward to running Star Wars next year. The atmosphere is always amazing at these races and that can really give you a boost. If you can run 1:52 at Disney with all the curvy paths in the park, you can easily improve on your next race. Way to go!

Shaggy Runner yeah I love the Disney races, they are so much fun. A lot of my subscribers run Disney races, so this year I had people come up to me constantly, it was kind of surreal. :-)
I loved the course this year. Not sure if I can swing doing it three years in a row, but this gets me excited about all of the other upcoming races.
Jen Sorenson yeah, Disney trips are not cheap, even when we can just drive down it’s still an expensive weekend, so adding a flight to it I can understand a yearly trip might be a bit much. I’m lucky enough to do two Orlando weekends next year, but don’t even want to think about what it’s setting me back. 😂
I have watched this a few times and it still makes me laugh. The part that I really enjoy is reliving the part where you run through the village and seethe circus performers and samba drummers at this 15k markers. These were high points of race for me. Wish I could have used the music they were playing at the circus, but I would get a copyright strike. It was King Loui's song in French. :-)
As always, what a nice vid. I really relived the race ones more! Funny to see things now that I didn't see during the race, like: "did a ran through that?". What a brilliant memory, thanks so much and hope to see you in 2020.
When you're running and paying attention to the road and other runners there can be a lot of things you miss during the race. This way you can always look back on it. Hopefully I see you next year.

It was another great half Marathon around the House of the Mouse, and and equally nice to bump into you on the Tram tour ride next day and say thank you in person for all the advice and tips you've given since I started running.

Brilliant :). Not sure what I'd do if I was ever recognized on course...have a feeling I'd have a super silly grin on for many miles, though! I wonder if that was the same Darth Maul from last year.
Yeah, it was a bit surreal at first, but so much fun having people come up to you to thank you for the videos you put out. It was the same Darth Maul, and like last year he ran as Darth Maul for all 3 races. I talked to him and his family outside of the races, so saw him without make up on too, they are Dutch. :-)

Great video, great to see phil again in your video!!! Btw do you wear the rain shoe sleeves? I was thinking about getting it to match the outfits but didn’t I was afraid that I would fall
It was the first time with the rain sleeve and I thought they wouldn't last, but they stayed on, didn't tear and the profile on the bottom was fine too. I will never run a half marathon with them again though. The reason was something I hadn't even considered before, but besides keeping the rain out it also keeps all the moisture in. My feet were soaking wet when I took my shoes off. My feet all wrinkly like I had soaked in a bath for 2 hours. Not a real great experience for my feet, but it looked good in the photos having yellow shoes. :-)

@@consueelruns I might think about it for a 5K, but not any longer than that, just can't be good for your feet.
ConsueelRuns I had a lot of fun on this race. I hope your training is going well. I was out today and just got battered by the wind. Apparently we do this running thing for fun. Take care out there😊
Hi Arno. What yellow covers do you have over your shoes? I am searching for that to wear „Mickey shoes“
Joerns Dopey Notes if you google rain guards for shoes or rain protector you should find them. They sell them on Ali express.
I wouldn’t recommend for long runs though, besides keeping moisture out it also keeps it in so sweat can’t go anywhere and your feet end up soaking wet.
