I am not ever worried about rain for my bags why ? Because every time i buy new bag i always spray waterproof on the tream leather and i have to tell you they petina very slow and stay clean and perfect😘💝🙏

Gorgeous bag! Can't decide between black leather or monogram. I think the monogram is more casual but I love leather. I ordered the tan leather and returned it as the color ws very different and unique but it felt very dressy and would be limiting with what you could wear with that color.
Ordering one in monogram tomorrow. Tried it on a couple of times and I love it. It’s a show stopper and my last LV for this year 😅

Just wonder that does it have any bag number i nside the bag or they don’t have it no more? I bought it ytd n try to find the bag number but couldn’t find it anywhere. Or it’s an rfid or some technology that they put the number in the bag now

@@MerfyG Done. Shopping in Lafayette today. The LV store has the black leather and canvas soft trunk. I haven’t decided yet on soft trunk. Yesterday I bought the Pochette Métis Emprinte Latte colour at Vendome LV. My daughter got the Christmas Animation Felice. Of course it’s the Paris Vendome edition. So excited shopping in Paris. Lots of people, cuisine and fun.
I have a question, since the material of the bag is intended to look slouchy, will the crease point of the material (may it be canvas or leather) cause it to fade over time since it will produce a pointed part on the bag should you stuff it ?

How much does the lv petite valise cost?
I have tried this bag on yesterday and didn’t look good on me. You’re right, it is too bulky. Very expensive for a canvas piece, the canvas is thin and soft, I don’t know if it gonna last long. I’m very interested in the pink monoglam but not available now. Maybe I should wait for the pm to come out to see if it looks better. Thanks! Merfy for the review.

Hello Merfy. What are your thoughts on the carryall PM in black empriente leather compared to this side trunk pm also in black leather?.. would you choose one over these other for long term use- 5-10 yrs down the road? Thanks!!
Both are very different but if you’re using it 5-10 years down the line, then go for carryall as side trunk is a fashion bag

Thank you for doing a video on the new Side Trunk, which I've been eyeing for a few weeks now. I have been trying to get an answer to the following question, asking a few SAs in different LV stores and even calling LV client service, and I keep getting different answers. Do you know if the vachetta on the monogram canvas version is treated? If it is, would it still continue to darken/patina?
It is treated in a way that is has been slightly darkened compared to the other classics. However, it will still darken as is doesn't have protective coating on it as compared to other leather finish
Yes. It is treated more than raw cowhide leather, but it’s a very mild vegetable tan, vs a chemical treatment used on other leathers. Therefore it will still continue to darken and it will also be subject to water stains, etc.

@@andreaaudino2189 yes. It will protect it providing it is applied properly and evenly. Note: LV doesn’t cover repairs on pieces that are improperly used or applied.

@@wendyyao322 I ordered the Tan leather it and sent it back. The color is very unique & leather was dull..almost looks fake. I wasn't sure what I could wear besides black and white that wouldn't clash with it. It really depends on your wardrobe. I love the bag and the style and function. It's gorgeous. I have ordered it in monogram as I cannot get my hands on a black leather bag here in Canada
