Sadly, Marvel failed to properly utilise the Title *"Multiverse"* ...
I really didn't understand one thing in this movie that Dr. Strange went through all this trouble, travelled through the multiverse and fought with the Scarlet Witch because America Chavez was unable to control her power but at the end of the movie we came to know that all that was needed was for Dr. Strange to say to America Chavez " Trust your powers". I don't know if I am wrong at any point but if not, then the ending was very dumb.

I truly think that the ending was very oversimplified….. wanda’s character was given a great build up…. She scared the hell out of us all….. so the fact that america suddenly learns to control her power (which she could not since her childhood)… and then opens a portal to her sons in another universe….. it seemed a very easy end to a movie which creates a build up this good

As now there is a incursion in the multiverse as shown in the mid credit scene , it leads directly to “SECRET WARS” in which MCU superheroes fight themselves of other universes . This is from Comics . Warning ⚠️ = This is bigger than Endgame 🔥
Reasons why I feel disappointed by Dr Strange 2.
1: The film doesn’t tell How Wanda knows about American Chavez (which is from other universe)
2: They didn’t show transformation or characher bullilding on How DarkHold possessed/ corrupted Wanda. Because she was changed in climax of Wanda Vision
3: There was not any much big surprise factor in movie, Almost glimes of every scene was shown in TV spots & trailers.
4: They didn’t gave justice to the Multiverse title.
Note: I liked many aspects of movie
And for me. :-. Dr strange should have been shown with more powers he didn't fight properly ever ones with Wanda that guy have spells for each thing but sadly this movie highly disappoints me (ps: their is no role of chemio's in my opinion) the strange felt like a liability during whole course of the movie Doctor Strange 1 was way much better even in infinity war Thanos vs Doctor Strange was also good they forcefully demoted him from soccer supreme and all was wanda UNNECESSARILY whopping Dr Strange's ass story could have been some what better they have shown illuminati like "Chutiya" HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING MOVIE

I think the end fight wasn't that big because both wanda and strange know each other really well and they were just trying to avoid any engagement as much as possible. Strange knew wanda is too op for him to defeat her and wanda doesn't wanna kill strange in the 1st place.

I may be alone in this but i feel post ENDGAME all marvel movies(Not shows) have had VERY LITTLE charachter growth. if u compare something like winter soldier to eternals or shang chi it has a much more meatier story. also ppl saying No WAY Home, that worked mainly due to tobey and andrew's nostalgia. otherwise it is also a pretty small story by itself.

The hate this movie getting is completely justified. First Endgame and No Way Home and now Strange is getting sidelined in his own movie. Why the hell I feel like they are ruining the very potential of this amazing character. All the variants were pretty much easily owned and in the last fight they completely sidelined him by handling job to a girl to didn't even knew how to control her powers an hour ago. Wanda was shown too op and at one point I felt like I was watching Wandavision's sequel. Now some people might say Wanda is powerful in the comics, but so is Strange. As a Dr Strange fan I was disappointed and hence I had mixed feelings about this. In the end movie became just another above average movie which had potential to be one of the best MCU films.
Wanda was shown too OP just because of her Corruption with Darkhold, Her becoming Scarlet Witch in WandaVision and her urge to find her two children whatever the consequences... Don't act like you wouldn't know that Scarlet witch will be OP in this movie... Everyone knows that Scarlet witch will be OP in this one and Imo it's justified... Some people need to find flaws in everything 🤦🤦 And no they didn't ruin Dr. Strange... He is as important as Scarlet Witch in the movie

The enjoyment and understanding of watching a movie in theaters actually lies in the excitement of the audience...
A lot of people said that the peak of DS was when Wanda moped the floor with the Illuminati...but for me it was the end battle because that is what the director wanted and the audience Loved skeleton Strange more than a character who appeared for 20 mins in a side story that too animated get cut into half with a shield...

I give Doctor Strange MOM a 3.5/5. There are flaws like Dr. Strange's character, they Scale Down him, we all know how powerful Dr. Strange is. I mean I know Wanda is more powerful than Dr. Strange, but he is also Dr. Strange who tricked Dormammu who is far more powerful than Wanda. Second runtime, movie requires more 30 minutes. They could explore more universes etc.
It's not called "powerful". It's smartness. And Dr Strange could defeat Dormammu that time bcz he had time stone back then,, which he doesn't have now anymore!

Dr Strange has the most important arc in this film. I don't know why people are ignoring it. When Wong tells him to take America's powers, he could've easily done that and defeated Wanda by throwing her in the hell while Wong held her back for a few moments. But it was important for him to learn to trust others and not make sacrifices of innocent people so easily

Good things about this movie was Dr strange himself, Horror elements,action scenes and bad things about this movie was movie plot,wanda being overpowered while nerfing others,there was no madness in multiverse,first half being better than second half,how wanda story was created,how wanda became good at end and specially it's run time it all feel useless and boring, overall this movie was pure much boring though it can be a good start for further movies of Marvel

I watched the movie in 3D, and there's a moment when captain Carter is introduced, she threw the shield into the screen, I was so into the movie I literally took it coming towards me and literally tried to dodge the shield.

Honestly as everyone in the comment section have mentioned that post endgame movies doesn't provide you a proper character development and an arc for the characters... Like in no way home also it was successful because of the fab service ( showing Andrew and Toby) otherwise movie didn't had such a significant potential similarly this movie also has various major flaws
1. Lack of an impactful and tight story and a plot
2. The pace of the movie is also too fast I mean literally movie started from defender strange's scene that suddenly dr strange wakes up and within seconds he is there in the wedding and so on... It feels so rushed...
3. Nothing was unexpected... Honestly if u have seen the two trailers of the movie than u know the complete story of the movie.... I mean they have showen us literally everything the trailer starts and tells that the whole defender strange's part was a dream of our strange then he goes to Christine palrmer's wedding then we saw America chavez running there then dr strange leaves the wedding to save her... Then we have seen Wanda attacking qamartaj then we had a shot of multiversal travel of strange with chavez.. Then he arrives in illuminati universe where he sees his statue which means he is dead in this universe then we hear the voice of Charles Xavier then comes the strange going for book of vishanti along with chavez and Christine.. And also before it we see Wanda fighting with illuminati then we had a scene of sinister strange.... And at last when trailer was about to end they also showed us that the defender strange who was dead ahead in the beginning of trailer is possesing some souls with a badass look... Which also made most of the fans predict that strange of our universe will use his body to do so... As the defender strange was dead already.... So there is literally no shocking moment for u and I have only talked about one trailer of movie in the tv spots they have even showen captain carter and Monica rambow...
4. Weak story arc of Dr strange... He seems so weak man, I mean com'on dr strange was shown as a person who knows there is not even slight possiblity of hindi defeating dormamu but hi goes alone to confront him that was dr strange he had that zeal he didn't fear anyone and same thing he does with thanos but in this movie he has believed from the beginning that he can not stand in front of Wanda and in the climax also what was the point of showing the defender strange so powerful possesing the souls if he can just hold Wanda for 5 minutes at all
5. And lastly a huge disappointment is the flop fan service.... I can literally tell u that the whole illuminati angle was a fan service because they didn't make any significant role in movie.... I mean if u remove the illuminatis from movie still movie ki story pe koi fark nhi padega unko sirf Wanda ko or powerfull dikhane ke liye laya gaya tha....And for sure movie se superior iron man ko bataya hai because koi explanation nhi diya ki Ultron bots kisne banaye agar ye b bol dete ki reed richards ne banaye hai to b chalta but nhi tha wo b.... Khair thank god usko hata dia wrna usko b Wanda se 5 min me marwa dete or disappointment ka level inna jyada ho jaata or at last jb poori movie me kuch as such na mile aapko to aap post credit se expect krte ho usme b pehla credit scene b kaata hai i mean literally 4 sec ke scene me kya batao ge kam se kam 15 se 20 sec to... Thank god people are talking about this. I as a Dr Strange fan was greatly disappointed by the movie. First Endgame and NWH and now Strange is sidelined in his own movie. None of his variants were powerful. Whole movie shows that Wanda is just too op and none of Strange variants are close to him. Climax battle was nothing but a joke. An amateur girl trying to fight Wanda and trying to control the situation and the main character former sorcerer supreme and one of the most developed MCU character just lies there and in the end antagonist just kills herself. If this isn't lazy writing IDK what is.
6. Marvel releasing so much stuff in MCU that it takes its special ness. like 4-5 years ago there are only 2-3 MCU movies per year and they're all above average and now you'll get 5 tv shows and 4 movies per year like nahh it's just too much for fans and personally I like to watch movies more than TV series I still didn't watched Wanda Vision and Loki
7. Since Marvel giving us so much stuff to watch monthly it kinda gets boring by time and there are so much stuff going on in MCU I think they should focus on 1 type of storyline. And lack of uniqueness in their product except Dr Strange, Like DC releasing movies like Batman, Joker and suicide squad those are not formula movies but I found them more brilliant that current mcu they should focus on quality rather than Quantity.

1) Acting (mainly Benedict Cumberbatch)
2) Visuals
3) They gave creative freedom to director
4) Cool fighting scenes : Dr strange vs Dr strange and illuminati being butchered and that brings to
DISAPPOINTMENTS
1) Illuminati (they are officially joke now)
2) Power inconsistencies (Wanda can french fry reed Richards but can't hear captain Carter's footsteps)
3) DIRECTOR'S STYLE : they gave his creative freedom but not a good script the inconsistencies in character's powers is too much and when the whole Wanda chasing Dr strange, Chavez and Christine scene happened I realised that he just went too much STYLE OVER SUBSTANCE when she was breaking all the doors and they were in 'Tunnel' how she came back and gave jump scare
4) WANDA : they gave her powers rather than good character motivation and dialogues. She was extremely powerful but when Dr strange asked what will happen to the other universe's Wanda ahe was quiet she didn't have answer. So they meant she was going for multiversal level of killing spree and didn't figure that out. Secondly when Dr strange did some mirror magic she looks so frightened ! Why? And i can't tell you how much I was disappointed that ending another character redeemed in the same movie where they butchered thousands
5) Wong was sorcerer supreme c'mon Now
6) Marketing : they showed us everything literally every surprise was revealed already (when he said 'i don't have to be alive' that could've been the real THE MOMENT but we knew what he was going to do
7) SCRIPT : they literally did things that they had to complete the story didn't gave a damn about what's going on with characters (professor x just trusted him for no reason at all)
This may seem negative review from my side but most of them are nitpick (i pointed them out since nobody's noticed that)
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie really a breath of fresh air in MCU

When Marvel revealed the next instalment of Dr. Strange, they should have been a little more careful. It robs the primary character, Dr. Strange, of his essence. I went into the movie expecting Elizabeth Olsen's character to simply push the subject of the multiverse and leave the rest for another film. It turned out to be the exact opposite, much to my surprise.
America Chavez, one of the MCU's most powerful characters, was not introduced as well as she should have been.
Elizabeth Olsen had it all. Sorry! Dr. Strange... but you should question why your character is being treated in this manner.
Another point of tension is the length of the film. The film had already reached its conclusion by the time I settled into my seat after the intermission. The action portions were enjoyable, but the final battle was tedious. There's no sense of a 'Boss Level.'

After Loki, And Spiderman No way Home, The movie was not like what everyone has expected to explore the multiverse and introduce more multiversal character. The storyline was also poor after continuing from Wanda Vision.
In Wanda Vision , Wanda has realised her fault and corrected her mistakes. And again she she has been portrayed villan in the movie. That's not apt for storyline of a grand Marvel movie. The script has focused on Wanda more than Dr. Strange.
Character Development of America Chavez has not done properly, So we are unable to connect as we expected.
Marvel should take care of it in future projects.
At the end of the movie I was not much overwhelmed and excited as I should be
No one is talking about that how doctor strange still remember about spider man even after the forgotten spell. He did that spell on every one. So how he remember about multiverse event of spider man and how he helped him?
i would say that it was great to see Scarlett witch's actual power but i don't think it was that much easier to kill illuminaties like they showed us in this movie. so pretty much disappointed. they could've shown that by making WandaVision Season2. Not by using someone else's name in the movie title coz we all know how weak they showed Dr. Strange in this movie.

Just watched the film and it's a good and enjoyable movie but script was week Wanda was superb 👌But not that good as you moc people are telling 😂 Brutality was good I liked it finally brutality from mcu and horror element were awesome 😁 In one scene where Doctor Strange, America cheves And Doctor Strange girlfriend were there in tunnel and wanda just suddenly came I was scared so much 😰 But still a little bit mcu touch was there jokes were there but only 2 to 3 and the cameos they made were also disappointing they made fun of the cameos 🤣But overall A good film and enjoyable A good 7/10....
