- Pakistanis Of African Descent Called: Sheedis/ Siddis or Habshis: MONGHOPIR
The Siddi, also known as the Sheedi, Sidi, or Siddhi, or Habshi are an ethnic group inhabiting the Sindh and Baluchistan provinces of southern Pakistan. A small number of Siddis are also found in India.
****
Manghopir or Mangopir is a neighbourhood in the Malir district of Karachi, Sindh.
There are several ethnic groups in Manghopir including Muhajirs, Sindhis, Balochis, Memons, Bohras, Ismailis, Sheedis etc. - Zábava
Thanks brother for the great work your doing to document African communities globally.
are u african?
Him been doing a great job kudadadeki
Can't believe you got the history correct.
Well done for pointing out the sheedi where not slaves but traders and soilders.
I see this agenda that sheedis were traders not slaves, it makes me sad that people only care about lying and promoting their agenda, I know they were slaves, but how can I tell someone who is stubborn about this matter, you can believe whatever history is history
The "African" is on every corner of the earth.
The Siddi are in Indian too.
Even though the we don't have the mean centuries back we were also discovering and exploring. My sister not everything about us black are written. I love you
Actually these African Siddi who live in India and Pakistani their origin they came from east Africa
@@AhmedDiiriye-gm6umLast time I looked, East Africa was a part of the continent. What's your point?

The siddis were not slaves. At one point they were the rulers of this land. They were muslim then and now.
One of the best vlogs I've ever seen. Thank you, this is so informative and beautiful delivered 👏
Love you show very good information and interesting thank you for sharing beautiful.
Ooow wauw never heard of it ! Thanks for showing us your journey.
Thanx much good bruh Sid...always excellent work...Afrikans in Pak rarely given exposure to the world...drums beat the same way in Abidjan and Karachi...please keep up the good world...God will surely bless you always...✊💪🙌🙏👀

Another great video young man! Continue to show that Africans are everywhere!
Such beautiful people and children.

Fantastic video brother, thank you for documenting this.
That is amazing one big family . Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤
Their amazing seamanship got them from East Africa to Karachi. Idiotic racist Indian comments about them being Mughal slaves are wrong. If the Mughal emperors had african slaves Mughl capitals Delhi and Agra would be full of African descendants. These are top seafaring people of the coast. I didnt see any shirk nobody bowed to the grave only prayed fatiha as in sunnah. Nobody there believes in reincarnation. The crocodiles are a heritage of the saint and show respect for all life. The video shows love and friendship between African Syidis (lords, Sayyids), and non African Sindhis, Balochis and Urdu speaking of thet area. The saint converted the local "untouchable low caste" people to islam and freed them from Hindu caste system. So they visit and show respect with simple love no shirk. They Syidis and non Africans all give respect in a shared shrine and multiracial egalitarian way of Islam. They are dressed in Pakistan clothes but are African except to blind people trolling here. Great vlog Mashaallah.
Also, The Ganges was named from an Ethiopian emperor....back when. Furthermore, India was ruled by an African named Malik Ambar.
Love to Pakistan!
Love the People and Delicious foods.

Wow I never knew they existed in Pakistan 🇵🇰..Thanks for sharing this video ❤
the language they are speaking is balochi and let me clear one thing they were no slave, they were the navy force of Talpurs but when brit took over they were forced to move to lyari, manghopir and badin Proud Of Seedi brothers
They don't want to believe it. For them the whiteman enslave and oppresses yet they still welcome whiteman with open arms but if Asian man is welcoming to them they want to follow this narrative of hate and say we worse
They are speaking Sindhi not balochi, only those of lyari speak balochi.
Good job brother.
Please check lighting next time.
it was nice meeting you in raja bazaar rawalpindi
Great story. Thank you.
While they are from the Siddi community, they are considered Pakistanis just like everyone else.
Afro Pakistanese, have a lady elected into the National Assembly. Our extended African family in Pakistan are still excluded economicaly and holding important positions in society.
Great work of connecting them to Motherland Africa.
I truly enjoyed watching these people and their customs. They are all so beautiful and I love them. It is wonderful to see that Pakistan is a country with such beauty. I would love to visit the whole Pakistan. You are such a lovely person @Visualpoet1 with such positive vibration that's why wherever you go in this beautiful planet of ours you will be greeted with love and kindness. We need more love and kindness. It is not important where we descent from, it is most important that we know that we are all One and beautiful faces of GOD. Much love and appreciation.
Truly Bantu. Wide nose full lips. Almighty is great 🙏🏿Quite surprised to notice how closely related to the culture of Pokomos of East Africa (Tana River County, Kenya) the Sidis are. Crocodiles and drums are a common theme.
Wow, thanks for that information....God is making Momma Africa aware of where some of her children were taken. Shalom
How did a mosque become a shrine? And why are you saying what you didn't understand... Am in Karachi right now. And I know this place. These are Muslim brothers. Proudly Muslim 🎉

In Islam, the veneration of shrines is strictly forbidden as it constitutes shirk, the act of associating partners with God in worship-the gravest sin in the Islamic faith. May Allah guide us all on the righteous path.
They must be sufis….

Very interesting thank you ( Pakistan authorities seem to do nothing about collecting trash/ rubbish in the streets as per the pictures , terrible)

Karachi is a multicultural city ❤❤❤

I’m pretty sure they are mostly associated with the balochis. Coastal Baluchistan province in Pakistan was joined at the hip with the Omani sultanate which stretched from Zanzibar Tanzania to Baluchistan Pakistan. They are the descendants of slave trade that the Omanis operated during that time. That’s why you also find Afro descendants in Oman even. and balochis are actually huge in number in Oman as well. Omanis probably brought slaves/slave soldiers to the west coast of India as well, along with other arabs and the portuguese. They were also involved in this indian ocean slave trade.
Story teller.
Yes and also Ghulams of Iran. in Iran there are huge African community in Coastal Iran a very different community.

Islam is a monotheism religion.
Please do not do bidat....any innovation in islam will count against you on the day of judgment.

I want to share you the name (Habshis)>> "Habesha" is used to call the people lives in central Ethiopian East Africa areas.
In the ancient times peolpes were moved from Africa to different parts of the world.
In Balochistan ..shedis are Baloch ..In Makuran divission.
On the other hand there is a big population of pakistani/indian origin settling in Africa specially east coast like Kenya, Tanzania, and Somalia.
Pakistanis are literally Iranic groups
Indians are Dravidians
And they got kicked out from Uganda.
South Asians are hated in Africa . Kenya hates them.
They say ' africa is for black africans'.
Idi should have called these people back.
@@Billdean25we wuz persian saar 👴🏿🧕🏾
We don't have Indians in Somalia instead we've Somalis with E1b1b DNA that married Indians and gave to the rise of cacadka or Shanshi tribe in Somalia that tend to look like Asians due to the Somali DNA getting diluted into any other non black race we marry and the offsprings always come out looking ambiguous or middle eastern/Indian.
Shidi is an african tribe - the original people landed or ship wrecked here. they stayed and lived here. The only black people indians/pakistanis had seen were from the shidi tribe so all black people are refered to as shidi. This tribe still exists in africa i believe.
Once there was a black ruler in South India - google Malik Ambar
This is the history of my brothers that the whiteman does not want you to know.
My greetings my Africa
Habshi seems like what my Ethiopean neighbours says his country use to called Abyssinia (Habashiyya).
There are a lot of Siddis in India. In Karnataka and Gujarat. They're Hindu Muslim n Christians.

Siddis are a unique and glorious people in India.
'Sai Baba of Shirdi' was also one of them. The 'Truth' now - has, and must be revealed!!! 🙂

Yeah, the world is only for muslim population right? U still wont be happy because u will fight among urselves. Disgusting. Are you calling for genocide of other faiths?
I know some Ethiopians who call themselves habisha. I wonder if the word habshi is related to that.
Habshi is an Arabic term for Abyssinians (Eithopians)
May Allah protect us from this Polythiesm, that shrine worship and keylocks and rituals is not Islam.

@@Billdean25Because these where the black slaves Pakistanis and other Asians took from Africa

Habshi sound very close to Habesha/Ethiopia.....they might have Ethiopian origin.
Exactly, They are, Herodotus wrote about the Ethiopians who come from Pakistan/Hindustan /INDIA. Ethiopians are Sheedis and Sheedis/Shiddis are Ethiopians and more mixes. It is said to be (two) Ethiopias one by the Nile and the other by the Indus Valley. Ethiopians and many other groups migrated from Pakistan &"India" before both countries received there independence and many. other parts of Asia to "Africa" not the other way around due to so called ethnic cleansing of blacks out of Asia.
