Y'all are cracking me up!! I've been enjoying the canned Kin drinks, but the tiny-ness of the cans led me to High Rode in the hopes of creating some mixes of my own... and yeah, two pours in, the bottle is 1/3 empty already! As a former IPA PhD, I totally get what you mean about the flavor profile!! I added some bitters and lemoncello La Croix to make it last longer... thanks for an entertaining review!

Tried a sampler pack of Kin this past week. Personally, I'm enjoying it but I can see how it might be disappointing for a lot of people. The effect is definitely more subtle than a real beer or glass of wine. I'd almost describe it as having an identity crisis, in that it's marketed as a party drink that gets you drunk without the hangover, when it's really more like Kava. My favorite is the Bloom, that one has a pretty good taste and gives me a nice balanced calm/euphoric feeling.

For real though, i appreciate the honesty. Gave up booze for lent and trying to navigate whats out there without wasting money, or even worse, getting hooked on something even worse

I’ve never tried the product, but i just feel like this review lacked depth and true examination of the product.
He’s extremely skeptical of anything. I thought there was a lot of depth to our explanation. 😅
