You should definitely take use of your many Swedish followers when in Stockholm. To get a tour, dinner company, tips, a fika, or even some where to sleep!

Your voice is so smooth. It’s a joy watching your reactions, and this time my hometown! Do come, you are quite welcome!

I don't know why he dislikes the South island. It's one of the most liked parts of the city. It's a vibrant part of the city with a lot of restaurants, pubs and bars, cafés, shops, theatres, FolkOperan (the people's opera), some of the most beautiful views of the city, street markets etc. The list goes on and on. It seemed to me that he was only looking for the really touristy places. Not the real Stockholm. And i guess that's fine. But it's a shame to miss learning about the different parts of the city. Another part that he didn't even mention is Vasastan. Or Kungsholmen (except for that bit about the city hall). Or Östermalm, or the ultra modern and eko friendly Hammarby Sjöstad. This city has a lot more to offer. This is my hometown.

30:55 No longer a summer residence. it is the permanent residence of the King and Queen. It was our current king who felt, for the sake of their children, to be more around nature and more private than in the middle of Stockholm Castle. So Stochlom Castle is solely the workplace for the King, Queen, Crown Princess & her husband Prince Daniel 🙂

He only really mentions a few areas in downtown Stockholm.. With a public transport card.. you have access to the entire county of greater Stockholm.. And there are LOTS of things of cultural and historic value to see and do. You can see Gothenburg in a day or two.. Malmö in a day.. But Stockholm.. You'll need at least a week.

He was wrong. Drottningholm Palace is the king and the queens year around residence. Not only their summer residence.
The royal palace in the city is where the royal family work.

Most large cities have a "city"-card with travel, entries and rebates to museums and more. Stockholm is no exception.

if you're interested in seeing some old churches I would recommend you taking the one hour train ride north of Stockholm to the city of Uppsala to see its cathedral which is the tallest one in all of scandinavia

14:05 The plaques with coat of arms are for knights of the highest order of the Seraphim. So Nelson Mandela have a plaque even though he wasn't a royal.

Oh, I forgot. Do visit Norway if you can, you wont regret it! Take the train from Gothenburg or a flight from Copenhagen or Malmö or Stockholm. Oslo and/or Bergen, do the fjord tours by boat or ferry (cheaper). I´m sure there are people here who can tell you more!

Lol, we (from the more southern parts of Sweden) call Stockholm "Fjoll-träsk" or in English Sissy-swamp 😂

33:07 Stockholm is definitely not a “massive” city. It quite tiny and walking would be enough. It takes 45min to walk from one edge to the other edge. And most of the interesting places are in a 2km radius in the very cente.
