You need to raise those sprinkler heads not just slap the grass hole around it. You already dug them out. Just unscrew them add spacer from Home Depot and reinstall. Don’t even have to dig all the way down.

Thank you for your comment...although raising the sprinkler head with a spacer is a great idea for your sinking sprinkler heads it still does "Not" protect your sprinkler head from string trimmers, lawn mowers or foot traffic.

@@grassholesystemobviously. I’m not saying to do that “instead” of using the grasshole thing. I’m saying in conjunction. And that plastic isn’t gonna stop a lawn mower blade. Weed whacker. Sure although a weed whacker doesn’t really pose a threat to a sprinkler head unless you’re a bafoon. However helping prevent the grass roots from over growing and make it easier to find for adjustments etc is a big key for me. I do appreciate the perforated cut lines.

@@richiechopthey’re not meant to fit snuggly around the spray head. You’re supposed to fill the empty space with sand

@@richiechop not at this time...I use GRASSHOLE on all my sprinkler heads - rotary & pop ups
