  • Went out to the Clarks Fork section of the Stanislaus River and booked into nearly 20 trout for the day. Just me and my buddy out on the river along with two other fisherman we seen. Beautiful scenery and an even better time catching fish!

Great looking water! I love the Stanislaus! Gotta be careful though because at the beginning of your video you talked about keeping them in the basket and then keeping bigger fish and releasing smaller fish from the basket. Culling trout is illegal. As is keeping your limit and continuing to CNR. Not trying to preach - just trying to help out.

Are you allowed to use the eggs as bait or only barbless lures

great looking water, but as someone else mentioned, you can't cull fish like that. also if you're going to CNR, invest in a net and don't drag trout up on the bank like that, as that really increases mortality.

What up homie! From shad to trout, what species is next? Crappies and bluegills lol. Great intro, need to dub in some background music to drown out the wind. You need a catch phrase cause JU got “Fish on” on lock. Stay safe and tight lines.

Haha I try to catch them all like Pokémon but a catch phrase would be dope! I’m sure I’ll think of something soon lol but I finally got an external mic so that should fix the wind and the messed up audio. Stay safe and healthy and god bless as well! Tight lines

You guys are brutal - poor fish don't stand a chance with salmon eggs!! No wonder there are hardly any fish left in these streams! Try upping your game to Catch and release with a fly!!

Relax, these fish are planted on a regular basis. I kept my 5 fish limit and released the rest of my catches. Had my fly rod in the truck just much more fun/easier to catch with salmon eggs. Everyone has a preference for catching fish, don’t hate because my way caught all the fish you could NOT. Tight lines!

@@mpoutdoors4173 to each their own but imo eggs/powerbait/worms are really for kids and i think most fly anglers would agree. flies present more technical challenge and is a more suitable challenge for adults. it's not difficult to slay em on flies up there either, i spent 3 hours on clarks fork a few weekends ago and hooked up with 20+ on a basic double nymph rig.
as far as planting fish goes, yes the rainbows are planted, but there's lots of wild browns too. just handle them with care; wet your hands, use a landing net, barbless, etc.
