Haijiâs in a weird spot where sheâs not easy but she sure as hell ainât difficult despite throwing out difficult spells. The thing is for the most part youâve not only dealt with these attacks before but the worst of them are probably seared into your brain. If youâre anything like me muscle memory even took over for dealing with a good number of spells. Ultimately sheâs only really hard if you donât have prior Touhou experience (and what the heck are you doing playing this game without that).

You misunderstand that shion's upgrade is increase HP Capacity. Mine is Barrier Capacity.

Full honesty when I look at Haiji, and then look at how JynX seems to be toying with the idea of branching the len'en games out into other tributes, they feel more like a tribute to Touhou. They're still out of absolutely nowhere in regards to the game's plot, but a small nod to the fact that Len'en is essentially Touhou's meaner little sibling is still kinda touching to see.
23:04- Yago makes weapons for both sides but for Haiji, there is no excuse. Also, I like that instead of bullets, Haiji uses paper seals for variety.
Also from the Len'en Wiki (Haiji's: Original spell-card used as basis [Owner of Original]), the only exception being White Card: "Origin Card" and the non-spells as those are original to Haiji:

The fact that Haiji is basically the Lenâen equivalent of a Belieber is hilarious to me.
Also, Giant Sudden Upset Miniboss cell two cells before the boss? What the heck is that luck?
I should also say that a subtle detail I like about Haijiâs fight is that she turns monochrome when she moves around, much like Tsurubami and Tenkai. And yes, itâs confirmed that she does it to imitate Tsurubami more.

Seeing all these spell Haiji copied, make me wonder if perhap thereâs someone in Gensokyo specialize in smuggling spellcard from one place to another, or that this person really is Haijiâs secret route, that could go from here to there, copies spellcard down to the bulletâs color palette, and then trade back to customer for cash...
tbh touhou's version of haiji is marisa. marisa likes to "study" spellcards, hell, she has a grimoire full of lists of known spellcards. sometimes, she uses them to incorporate other ppl's spellcard to her own.

This is gonna be fun...
It's my favourite boss next the one that got me into this series. Playing as the new emperor team (Iyozane, Fumikado,Tsugumi) can be really overpowered when you get the bullet reflecting skill for Fumikado's armor mode. Just fill the meter and plant youself on the centre of a boss and their health just crashes. I practically one shot Hagi's second to last spell with that method.
Also I've been meaning to ask Mega, where did you get the Shrine and Emperor translation patch from. Just in case further translations are realeased for the other teams.

Hello Omega, how about to play Touhou - Fantastic Danmaku Festival? It has nice Danmaku Patterns and one more surprise to see in character selection screen) Game pretty difficult but I completed all in normal mode. By the way there is English version on Steam but the paid one, however it has a lot more options included like a spellcard capture system and there where hell starts=)
English version on Steam'll be really helpful, however I'll be playing it only when it wins the fangame poll I put at the end of my fangame videos to see what you guys want me to play next.

By the way, why does Haiji turn greyscale when she moves around? Did all bosses do that and I didn't notice?
Flygoniaks I belive it's because they are that much of a fan that they mimic the monochrome movement of Tsurubami. The only other character to do this is Tenkai (which is possibly down to their friendship with Tsurubami).
I think she just does it because Tsurubami does it... which is also why Tenkai does it iirc
Anyone related to the Senri shrine seems to do it (Tsurubami & Tenkai for example) though Haiji only does it to be a copycat
