In this chapter, Commander Jane Shepard fails to find understanding with The Citadel Council; narrowly escapes an assassination attempt; teams up with turian officer Garrus Vakarian and krogan bounty hunter Urdnot Wrex; and spends some time exploring the Citadel Wards, sharing in its shady secrets and questionable pleasures.

The video is part of a detailed no-commentary, non-blind playthrough of the Mass Effect series, specially crafted with the intention of creating as near-perfect a memory of the game as is technically and substantially possible. The playthrough is oriented at maximum completionism (particularly when it comes to dialog), as well as offering a good balance between storyline and combat experience. Since highlighting all of the elements of ME is absolutely impossible in just one walkthrough, no matter how much editing is involved, I have gone to the trouble of making two walkthroughs for each game - making them as different from each other as possible: two alternate and totally dissimilar Commander Shepards in two alternate universes.
All the walkthroughs involve elements of editing (sometimes by means of tweaking saved games with Gibbed editors, sometimes by simply splicing together bits from different playthroughs); try to capture interesting camera angles and make use of non-trivial combat solutions where possible; and make heavy use of existing mods such as MEUITM, ALOT, and others (all downloaded from nexusmods.com).

This video is part of the ongoing SolitaireGaming project, an attempt to build up a "longplay museum" for historically important and overall enjoyable series of plot-based adventure, role-playing, and action video games for PC, recreating the player's immersive experience and capturing as much content and as many additional details as possible. The videos are divided in 7 sections, three of them covering the adventure genre (Sierra On-Line, other "classic" studios from the 20th century, and the more "modern" studios from the 21st century), two given over to RPGs (BioWare and others), and two covering the shooter action and action-adventure subgenres (only plot-based games are considered systematically). Cool that you didn't go full 100% renegade in every situation because some of it like the verner combo is a little ridiculous. Enjoying.
Of course, if you want to do a fully satisfying Renegade run you can't just go mashing the bottom right option all the time. I'm keeping Conrad alive until the end so that I can have the most fun with him.
I hate 2 characters in this whole series, Ashly and Jacob, and I don't like 2 save them both but ofc you have if you want to get the best outcome or the worst nightmare
"Hate" is a strong word when applied to a video game character...

She's cool, one of the best-written characters in the game and a romantic partner for my male Shepard in the Paragon playthrough.
@@st.georgesgames6299 When I played the trilogy for the first time as maleshep, I choose Tali as romantic partner, because I like her. When I played femshep(Jennifer Hale is awesome) I choose Garrus as romantic partner, he's interesting character.
These are fairly popular choices indeed; I like to keep it a bit more realistic, keeping Garrus as "best buddy" and Tali as "little sister".
