    An awesome video. A post-(second)lift ones have lots of parts upgarded, as a lots things are really faulty in the pre-lift models. BUT they have a next gen direct fuel injection FSI V8, which is awefully unreliable for many reasons. The pre-facelifts have a "true" MPI V8 as this one. Greetings from the owner of the latter, and the video has been really fun to watch.

      @Zalesie123 Před 3 lety +1

      @@vtestdrive No worries. Yeah, many rasons. Mostly bacause of a direct injection and the related carbon buildup which needs to be cleaned up periodically. Then the oil consumption and the timing chain (as opposed to timing belt in MPI) which is placed on the back of the engine, so a nightmare to replace and if it's clunking it's more noticable for the front pasengers . A bit more fuel efficient thou.

      @@Z4G. Be carefull, that chain and camshafts are not producing some unhealthy sounds, usually 30k km oil change interval, especially driven in city can kill them. Leaking injectors can take with themself also turbos (yes, this car have two turbos), new injectors are extremely expensive (almost 1k eur per one), however specialize shops can refurbish them (but not for free). If car have restless idle rpm, in 99% it could be faulty injectors, or you needs to check them with online values via diag. Then usual evergreen swirl flaps. Definitely, don't go buy this car without proper Audi diag, 4.0TDI is very complicated engine, which could be reliable if owner cares about it, but also it can became worst financial nightmare if previous owners didn't care about it at all.
