Thanks for this. I’m an older woman (81) and I HATE bras. They dig in, ride up and smother. At this stage of my life, I want some lift and comfort. Amen!
I can only stand it for a couple of hours most are not enough space at back to clasp and extensions just don't work well. Most of the time I go without. Must be really hard for mfg. to give us some comfort..too much padding or nothing in the end.
Renee you are a lifesaver! Thanks so much for the sports bra recommendation. I’m a motorcycle rider, and only wear wire-free bras. Most that I’ve tried have no lift or support which can make for an “uncomfortable” ride. I gave those inexpensive sports bras a try, and VOILA, riding bra problem solved!!!
Thanks for the "foundation garments" tips. One of the things I like best about your channel is that you do talk about "real" stuff (like bras, your hysterectomy, etc.). I did want to add one caveat about sports bras. The bras you wear are great for low impact stuff. But they wouldn't work for higher impact/sweatier stuff (like running). If you do higher impact sports, try to stay away from adjustable straps. Nothing is worse than that plastic or metal digging into your skin (and actually abrading your skin) while you're trying to exercise. It's very uncomfortable (it hurts!). If you do higher impact sports, go for a sports bra that is completely fabric, with no plastic or metal on it. Take it from me, you'll soon regret your adjustable straps! I learned that the hard way (by rubbing my skin raw). In addition, if you need a medical test (like a bone density test), you'll want to stay away from any bra with plastic/metal on it. I wear my fabric only sports bras for those tests and I don't have to go through the hassle of taking my bra off (especially helpful since the person that does the test at my doctor's office is a male).
So true! I don't do any sort of high impact exercising....gave that up about 5 years ago. I'm a true low-impact gal doing yoga, pilates, walking, strength training etc 😊 My body is much happier this way :)

Me too Renee, love the Underoutfit bra! I have several and with the lace trim too, which fit a little more snug. I’m in my 60s and till I tried these, was a diehard underwire bra girl. I have my youngest daughter hooked on these too.

I was at Walmart yesterday and picked up one of the Avia sports bras - felt really supportive and you can't beat that price! I was pleasantly surprised they were in stock because it said they were out of stock when I was online. Glad I tried it on, had to go up one size. Thanks for the info! I love a good buy!

There are several brands of these type bras, and they hit different price points. I first discovered them after my mastectomy-I no longer wanted an underwire, they were not comfortable. Walmart carries one bra, Warners, that I first purchased. Great video. Thank you!
I also have purchased several Warner bras from Walmart and they are very comfortable.
Renee, thanks for this video…I’m going to try your everyday bra. I would love to get away from an underwire one. But more important than that….you inspire me to do an in home workout. You look great!! I have asked before whose video you work out to and I did it a few times and really loved it but life gets in the way. I get busy in the mornings and I have never made it a habit! I lost 60 lbs about 5 years ago and weighed then what you do now but over the last couple of years I’m gaining too much of it back. 😫 Thanks for the encouragement!! 😊
Yay! You'll be so much more comfortable ditching the underwire. And bras now have great support without them. I have to do my workout early in the morning or I'll put it off. It's on my to-do list every day. Give yourself 30 minutes and you'll be so glad you did. I'm also trying something new in my workouts and can't wait to share it with you! Stay tuned!
I ditched underwire a few years ago. I'll never, ever go back! Luckily, bra manufacturers are wising up and making bras now that provide lift and support without the underwire. I'm a pretty small person (I'm 4'9" and weigh somewhere between 75 and 80 pounds--yes, I shop mostly in the little girls department for both clothes and shoes and feel very happy when I can get something without Barney the purple dinosaur or without Elsa from "Frozen" on it! I do shop ladies' bras, but selection is limited in my size, so have to go to specialty stores that carry the smaller size; training bras just don't cut it). That underwire would always dig into my ribs and it was so uncomfortable!

I am so over wearing my sports bras. Every single wash the insert comes out from one or both cups and then the time it takes to put them back. Ugh.
I know I really like the Walmart sports bras, I think there better than any Target sports bras.

There has to be a way to tack those inserts to stay in place, or use a fabric glue which doesn't become stiff. I'll bet a Google search would yield some ideas and there are all sorts of sewing videos....one of those gals might offer a solution for you.
I have been on the hunt for a sports bra to replace my old ones that have completely worn out and were discontinued. All the ones I've tried recently give major uniboob. I'm eager to try these.

Renee, I’m so glad that you shared these bras bc I’ve been looking for an everyday bra that’s as comfortable as the Trukind bras from Shapermint. I just ordered two from Shapermint and I’m not happy with their service. It’s going to take 3 weeks to receive and they overcharged me and there’s no phone number on the website so I had to chat and try to get the order straightened out. It’s been a mess. I hate websites without a customer service number. That will be my last order with them. Can’t to wait to try the Amazon bra. ❤❤❤

Hi! I too have ordered from Shapermint and had the same experience. Also, their bras tend to have a thick banded edge on the shoulder straps that can fold under and be seen through clothing. Plus I don't like their "nude" color...it's very yellow. Once I discovered UnderOutfit...I've never looked back 😊

What size did you order and what size are you in a normal bra? I can't imagine this bra providing the support needed for larger cup sizes. I hate underwire bras but can't find one without wire that works.

I’ve enjoyed your video! In 2004, I had breast reduction surgery. The doctor left one breast smaller than the other…he said bc they were like that naturally! In retrospect, I should have made him fix it but to go through the surgery again was too much for me at the time. Now, I’m old and have scoliosis on top of uneven breast size. After the breast reduction, I’ve NEVER found a bra that fit properly bc after a few minutes, the breasts “fall” out of place. Now, with the worsening scoliosis, my body has…I guess you could say has shifted…and not only can I not find a bra to fit well in front, none fit the same on the sides or back. Mainly bc each side/back are shaped differently. I’m very frustrated and at my wits end as to what to buy next. The Underoutfits look a lot like bras that I bought from Sam’s years ago and I’ve just about worn them out. I wear them bc they have padding and the “deformity” in my breasts aren’t as noticeable. My question to you is, have you run across this situation before and if so, did anyone out there find a bra that came up high enough under the arms to hide scars and hold in breast fat, high enough in the back to hide back fat and to somehow hold the breasts in place where they are supposed to be and keep them there? Typical underwires are normally uncomfortable for me. The other thing is, I have no idea how to measure for a cup size with such a difference in breast size! I know you might not have all of these answers but praying that someone out there does. Surely, I can’t be the only woman with this problem. I would like just, one more time, to feel like I look good in my clothes! Thank you.
Thank you. Great information as always. I am thinking of trying the everyday bra. I had something similar that did not have clasps in the back. I felt like it gave me no separation. It looked like I had a uniboob. Do you find that happens at all with these bras?
Hi! The everyday bra gives separation....the sports bras do not. I find that any "bra" that doesn't have hook and eye clasps will cause uniboob. Plus they don't typically have front support for each individual breast causing everything to run together. In the video, you can see the underneath support on the everyday bra that provides separation. I think you'll like it! Plus if you order it and don't like it...you can easily return. It's a win win!

The bands stay put on the everyday bra and sports bras. I've never had an issue with the bands rolling up. Hope that helps!

Hi, Renee. I've never worn a "sports bra." Would you please explain what is the difference between a sports bra and an everyday bra. Could I wear a sports bra all of the time? Thanks.
Hi! The main difference to me is several things. A low-impact sports bra typically does not have hook and eye clasps on the back. Sports bras are fully adjustable with much more forgiveness. The material is stretchy and different than a regular bra. Most of them are moisture-wicking because you could be sweating. You can absolutely wear a sports bra all the time if you want. I sometimes do wear a sports bra under tank tops or more athletic looks. The versions I showed you in this video are wonderful for wearing all the time. Just know that a sports bra won't provide the "lift" or "separation" compared to a regular bra. Hope that helps!!
I have to go try on sports bras that zip up the front and don’t pinch in the underarm. I had breast cancer last year with a lumpectomy, reconstruction, lymph nodes removed in the armpit and 6 weeks of radiation. I’ve now got radiation fibrosis and limited movement in my left arm. I can’t get a regular sports bra over my head or off after exercise.

As a guy with gynecomastia, I mostly struggle with the band being too tight for all day wear. Which one out of these would you recommend which has a not too tight band?
Hi! The regular everyday bra has a stretchy band with hook and eye adjustments. You can also add the included section of more hooks for more width in the band if needed. I think this would be the best option for you. Hope that helps!
I wish they made nice compression workout bras like they used to. I have some that are 20 years old because who wants to struggle with getting it over your head? If they have a clasp, they seem to be made more like a regular bra with cups.

Shapermint makes these also lovethem
Shapermint bras are similiar (I actually have 2 of them) but they don't have a great color selection. And I find that the straps on the Shapermint bras are a smidge thicker on the edges causing them to show under clothing.
Are they supportive?
After buying gently used bras at my local resale shop for the last ten or twelve years, I decided to spend money on correctly sized, full coverage new bras. First, I lucked into a Macy's sale and got five Bali underwires at $11 each, and then Walmart got me to spend some more on a number of wirefree ones to sleep in.
Well, I'm up to my ears in bras now, but I'll tell you this: Happiness is, without a doubt, underwear that fits right !!!
I have sloping shoulders so unless I get a racerback, I find the shoulder straps fall down on me. I wear underwire because I need a lot of support and lift. Do the straps stay up well?
The straps stay up well on me. They shouldn't slip if you have the straps properly tightened :)
My Amazon bra arrived today! So nice and smooth and does a good job on breasts, with one being smaller due to a lumpectomy 23 years ago. 😊 thanks again!

A couple years ago you recommended Shapermint. Have you become disappointed in them?
I used to wear Shapermint but had several issues. A small selection of colors...and their nude is very light and yellowish. I perfer a darker nude. The side-ribbing on their straps is thick and visible underneath clothing. Ordering takes forever....literally weeks to get your order. Since finding UnderOutfit, I've converted entirely.
I like thebra comments because I want to get away from underwire. When you were showing the bra without your shirt on, I want to know about your white jeans? I am looking for standard cut white denim straight leg comfortable jeans. I like the way yours looked around the waist. I couldn’t see the legs, of course, if you wouldn’t mind, please tell me about the white jeans and if you have any other recommendations. I have bought them in the past in Levi and Lee but you can’t seem to get the same thing twice in a row these days. Thnx Andrea

These kinds of bras are padded though. I can’t stand the padded bras because they make me look bigger than I am. I also have a thyroid problem which causes me to sweat a lot. I can’t wear bras like this.

I have problems with Underoutfit, the straps are too stretchy, and not adjustable, and the under band material is flimsy, l have it adjusted tight, but, l actually fall out! 👎
Hi! Not sure if you have the UnderOutfit Bra I'm showing in the video because both the bands and straps ARE adjustable. I show the adjustments up close in the video. I'm thinking you didn't order the correct size bra. It if doesn't fit correctly, perhaps look into an exchange or return.
