Dude I know exactly what you're talking about 8 - 10 hours in a 3 ft crawl with a couple of guys that don't wanna work is enough to drive a man INSANE. They had to take me outta install and luckily there was an opening in maintenance. Been doing PMs on rooftop package units and could not be happier. 😊 yeah residential is nightmare sometimes.
Back in the day I woulda said rheem but they all pretty shit now, (all have cheap parts inside) rheem is decent now cause you can get a 10 year warranty but if you are on a budget go with a Goodman.
Is that Fieldpiece's DR82 Infrared Leak Detector? If so, you are supposed to keep moving the tip of it. Otherwise, you'll supposedly get a false reading. Just letting you know for general purpose.
@@myHVAClifeyou know what's the difference between the two. Too lazy to google at the moment. Even lazier to check the reply. Will check in morning. Happy 4th
Dont miss residential work at all

Sounds like two people found the leak already just didn't want the job
They were using a combustion leak detector.
🤣
Looks like a warranty job
Congratulations 🎉🎉😊
Looks like the coil is installed wrong. Needs a transition between the furnace and coil. or the has to over hang on the bottom for proper air flow
Steel screws in that aluminum coil causing galvanic corrosion??
With that much rust, the confirmation of a leak shouldn't be necessary
24 in coil on 17in furnace
U fix it? 😂 Or replace coil?
Need to install new central air. What brand do you recommend?

I am aware! This is the 58, which works better IMO.

Do you change out the evap or repair it?
Replaced the coil and the outdoor unit on this job. System had no warranty on it..
@@myHVAClifethat's unfortunate for the homeowner. Payday for you though, have a good one!
