I’ve been experiencing issues with my HVAC filters bending and creating air gaps, allowing dust into the house. I've already tried switching back to more restrictive filters, but the problem persists. Could a dirty blower be causing increased suction or airflow issues, making my filters bend? Would cleaning the blower help resolve this?

i'm with you brother, Its been me in the dog all week. Sore throat on Saturday hit hard on Labor Day, test positive Tuesday AM. I still tested positive yesterday. I will probably go back on monday, they won't let me back till I have a negative test.

Get yourself a sharpie. Start writing the date and what you do on each unit. Use shorthand if you need to. It makes it nice to pull off the cover and see what’s been done in the past. Also write a baseline for all your numbers, capacitance, pressures, temperature, etc. if I didn’t put your system in, I’m not going out after hours, on the weekend and especially not on a holiday. Get the jackleg who put it in to come out.

I would lose cooling because my coils were dirty.4 hours then it stops being cool...my filter is 22 x 22...i needed a 24x24 ..all the hairs was getting into the coils.Cleaned that..Cooling restored.

Right now I’m without my AC until Tuesday. Lennox system with a leaking coil-again (second replacement since 2020). Last year it was the compressor. I have one more year left on the warranty.

I have those same gauges. Mine leaked right out of the box and I send them to the manufacturer and they sent them back still leaking. Now I never trust my vacuum.

I just had an Oxbox heat pump installed. My thermostat has 6 wires but the oxbox has 4 wires. How do i wire my existing 6 wires to the new heat pump? I have an electric air handler for emergency heat.

I don't know if it makes a difference but I noticed on the first video you installed the pressure probes and then you turned them on. I thought you were supposed to turn them on and then attach the probe to the port. Good videos, keep them coming.

Ok, again, the more I think about it, I believe somebody added Freon after you checked it. Either the customer didn’t know they did, or he didn’t want to tell you he had someone else out there I guarantee

Brother we’ve all been there and done that. I’m wondering about your low loss fittings however I use them all the time I’ve never had any problems is it possible you just didn’t have them screwed on tight enough?. I’ve caught myself being cautious about over tightening them. I DO wonder however if someone did add Freon over the weekend. I’ve had weired stuff happen like that.

I use the same CPS fittings w/ out realizing any issues. Next time I get jacked up readings I’ll be sure to remove and check readings without the CPS. Nice heads up. Thanks!
