Eid Special Butter Chicken Recipe | Pakistani Style | Easy Recipe For Beginners

In this video I will show you how to make the easiest butter chicken recipe, perfect for beginners and just in time for Eid.
Ingredients: For Chicken Marinade
1kg Boneless Chicken - Cut into small pieces
Salt To Taste (Recipe Used 1 Tsp)
1 Tsp Coriander Powder
1 Tsp Garlic Granules
1 Tsp Ginger Powder
1 ½ Tsp Basaar Mix
1 Tsp Tandoori Masala
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
For the gravy:
225g Salted Butter - 25g of this is used to cook the chicken
4 Large Onions
6-8 Cashew Nuts
1 ½ Tsp Basaar Mix
2 Small Tomatoes
Salt to Taste (Recipe used 1 Tsp)
400ML Boiled Water
1Tbsp Tomato Puree
2 Green Chillies
1 Tbsp Dry Fenugreek Leaves
1 Tsp Garam Masala
1 Tsp Coriander Powder
1 Tsp Brown Sugar
4 Dry Curry Leaves
Fresh Coriander for garnishing
Method:
1. In a bowl add the chicken and marinate with salt, coriander powder, garlic granules, ginger powder, basaar mix, tandoori masala and oil. Mix well and leave for an hour.
2. In a pan melt the butter and cook the chicken on a high heat until you see the oil leave the sides. Place aside and start on the gravy.
3. Melt the rest of the butter and sauté the onions until lightly golden. Add in the cashew nuts, basaar mix and tomatoes and continue to cook on a high heat.
4. Add salt, and cook until the onions are dark brown. Place the mixture into a blender and blend into a thick paste. You can add water to make this easier to blend.
5. Transfer the gravy back into the pan and add 200ml of water. To this add in tomato puree, green chillies and chicken. Continue to cook on a low heat for a few mins.
6. Add in dry fenugreek leaves, garam masala, coriander powder, sugar and dry curry leaves. Mix well and cook for 5 mins before adding in more water.
7. Leave to simmer for 15 mins and garnish with fresh coriander.
