Alex and Huda, would match but as Muslim scholars based on Qur’an and Sunnah are unanimously agreed that it is not permissible for a Muslim woman to marry a non-Muslim, whether he is Jewish,Christian or anything else, because Allah, may He be exalted, says:
“And give not (your daughters) in marriage to Al-Mushrikoon till they believe (in Allah Alone) and verily,a believing slave is better than a (free) Mushrik (idolater, etc.), even though he pleases you. Those (Al-Mushrikoon) invite you to the Fire, but Allah invites (you) to Paradise and Forgiveness by His Leave, and makes His Ayatollah (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to mankind that they may remember”[al- Baqarah 2:221].

Precious Fischer I am an Indian and I agree ... am blessed to have been born in an open minded family and travelled around the world but that's just my luck not all are educated in the right way .
It goes beyond cast They are all bleeding educated and do actually know that cast system is wrong and illegal to discriminate based on caste. I suspect it is deeper than that it's the ego 'my car is better than his, my salary is bigger than him my house is bigger than his my qualifications are better than his and here is the reality- in short even if I don't have any good qualities or am not much good at anything he is still INFERIOR than me. It is inferior superior complex which manifests as caste.
Precious Fischer not gonna lie the first time I learnt about the caste system was when I moved from India to the uk I think the caste system depends on area and their beliefs so it is harder to call it big issue because many of the current generation don’t acknowledge it as much

I found it really touching when instead of writing Houda for her religion Alex said "we can set an example for the world, I'll be one side and she'll be the other side". I honestly thought he will say "that's a shame, we can't be a couple". And it's so nice to see Houda felt inspired, she's so genuine and smart and she needs someone to bring happiness and inspiration. I hope things work out for them.
I love Huda. She's adorable. I love seeing the change in her too ie the desire to take more risks and do more herself. I hope she gets past the fear of what others will think or say. I'm disabled. My husband is not. He is also Saudi and Muslim whilst I am Caucasian Australian and was raised Catholic (although I became muslim before I met him). People do talk and judge us. They raise their eyebrows. They make all sorts of stupid assumptions. It doesn't matter though. We're happy. They can waste their time on such wasteful concerns.
On a side note I know how difficult it is. I am disabled, and live in Australia. Even here it can be very difficult. People tend not to see you as a real adult that could be in a relationship. It's like they view you like a perpetual child.

Its like the indian version of racism
There was no caste system in India before the British rule, but categorization of profession/work into seven types. This categorization of work was depicted as ‘caste’ in India by the British. Even the Vedas find no mention of caste, but ‘Varnas’, categorizing people on the basis of work. For example, two brothers born within the same family, one could be a Brahmin and other could be a Kshatriya based on their aptitude!
@@factschicken3708 its really interesting to know your version of caste system.

I like this reporter. He always seems very lovely.
Man, this is journalism. Take a bow to the reporter.
Refusing to marry someone based on caste is stupid! It's based on nothing but skin color. But ppl should take religion into consideration when choosing to marry because that can actually affect how compatible they are. For example, Christians are okay with drinking and smoking and partying while most Muslims are against it. In addition, would a Christian spouse be willing to fast with you during Ramadan, buy halal meat and give charity for you even though he doesn't believe in it? Would he support you wearing the hijab or convince you to take it off because it does come with it's own set of hardships? I also thought it was weird that the guy called her middle eastern because it shows the kind of bias he has of her. It's not impossible for an interreligious couple to work but a lot of things should be taken into consideration as there can be more obstacles than when marrying someone who shares your faith.
@@apotheosis16 your an idiot for the following reasons so far: 1. I never said it's always a deal breaker but it can be. 2. I never once said all Christians drink or smoke or party but they are allowed to do so from their religion. If they choose not to it's a personal choice. (Catholics literally drink at communion as part of a religious ceremony 😅) 3. The guy i was referring to in the video described himself as the western element in the marriage so who are you to say I have an incorrect westernized mindset about Christianity lol? 4) Religion doesn't have an impact on marriage if it doesn't have an impact on you. If it does affect how you live your life then your delusional if you're still saying it doesn't affect your marriage. People need to be smart and consider all aspects of their life when choosing a future partner including religion.
@@apotheosis16 Also, you have a very derogatory view of Muslims which is ironic considering you think God is one and love. You have called then hypocrites, womanizers, adulterers, perverts with fantasies of incest. And then after this barage of antimuslim insults, you advocate for interreligious marriage with Muslims. This is very hypocritical of you but idk if I should be surprised considering you seem to be supremely idiotic
Yulia Yossef Who said its allowed? Do parents teach their kids to do such? Go & spread your religious hypocrisy some where els. And learn to be respectful to others thats the basic tennet of being a Human first, Religion later. Even i say many things but arguing with a fool is like wresting with a “pig” in the dirt
@@apotheosis16 your oblivious to your idiocy...First you go denigrate a quarter of humanity with the most disgusting insults, and then when called out about it, you tell them to learn to be respectful, then proceed to call them a pig.
