the funniest part about that is they give that "deer in the headlights" look when their "opinion" or "preference" was proven wrong with logic.

My brother (handsome, successfull and very grounded) dated a nice educated, yet unemployed lady. Things were going great for a year until he found out she was trying to baby trap him. she has kids from different baby daddy's. (She didn't have custody) she thought she could move in with her kids and the kid was his . It wasn't his. (He's sterile from birth) I never liked her. Stay safe out there guys.

I'm a woman and I don't get that chick who was saying that womens standards have lowered while mens are too high. I mean, have you seen men post a list of restaurants that aren't good enough for them? Are they demanding a 6 figure salary and at least $200 spent on a first date, if they approve of the place??? Women are like used cars, you don't grab the keys and jump in just because it looks amazing. First you need to see how much it is going to cost you, kick the tires a bit, check the mileage, look under the hood, etc than go for it. Lots of cars look good, I want something reliable that I can count on that fits my budget.

Exactly, my connections with men fall under three categories ; they're related familiarly, professional alliances through employment or services rendered, or potential mates. If I'm in a committed relationship, there aren't any guy friends, my man is the only guy friend I desire. I was widowed in my mid 50s and now in my 60s, honestly, I've aged out any realistic possibilities. I've accepted this despite being a loving, devoted, and loyal partner. I believe my time has come and gone, and I was very blessed to have experienced being in a mutually loving relationship, but unfortunately mortality cut it short.
