And then proceeds to yeet himself in the dungeon
it's actually kind of fascinating to see the behavior of the mob in situations like this. first everyone digs aimlessly. then they start building aimlessly. eventually they explore and adventure (this happens sooner in a dire situation, e.g. a slime king and snowman mafia). and perhaps ultimately, they actually organize and progress in the game. it's a bit like watching machine learning.
Terraria teaching us some philosophy and sociology lessons. Awesome.
Kinda makes you wonder when the first humans became self aware at the spawn. Was it a real shit show like this? Everyone just tearing everything apart and trying to build stuff.

Watched this multiple times, and my favorite part is still the entire Eye of Cthulhu battle: everyone going up and down the rope, arrows flying everywhere. The audible gasp from RT when the Eye finally falls, then the "WE DID IT!". It's like he can't believe it actually happened.

My favourite is the underground section, the desperation as everyone tries to escape and the horror as the snowman mafia are around every turn and king slime is coming for blood.

I completely forgot about this, but that was actually me!
I was the Zach with stars around their name. I came in with a few cheated items, like the vortex monolith, a chat spamming machine, and the snowman mafia summoner item.
In retrospect it was definitely not cool but it seems to have made a really strong storyline. Because everything turned out well I don’t regret it.

GreenGrounds Thanos would like a word with Zach.
I believe it was a different Zach, as the chat showed that Zac said "execute order 66", however the 2 death messages in chat were not for Zac, and there were only 2 red X(es?). Therefore, the true culprit was in fact EXTRA ZACC and Red Zacher Effex. Zac DID, however, encourage the two before this, as the "execute order 66" message was only half of what Zac had said, his previous message being lost in the mess. He in fact said:
"SPAWN SKELETRON
DO IT
EXECUTE ORDER 66"
Another Zach who encouraged the two delvers was ZACH MAX GUNCH, who also asked them to summon the guardians. Sadly, the efforts of Zach & Cody, who attempted to stop the two delvers as well as reason with their supporters, were in vain as EXTRA ZACC and Red Zacher Effex did not stop, and summoned the Dungeon Guardians.
TL;DR
Zac is not to blame for spawning the guardians, but he is to blame for encouraging those who did.
Added note: Zach & Cody could be seen fleeing from the dungeon when the foolish delvers summoned the guardians, but died while trying.

The immortal people of Zack were oppressed by the snowman mafia, and the Slime king. In an attempt to escape, many Zacks dug deep into the earth, hoping to seek refuge. But the Evil Slime king found their secret heaven, and slaughtered all of the Zacks. Soon a rumor started within the Zacks that 2 Zacks found a land for their peoples, and it turned out to be the promise land. Soon a mass exodus was happening, and many Zacks lost their lives trying to make the journey. But the promise land, or rather tree, was perfect. Soon the Zacks rebuild their society. But the Evil King Slime followed, but this time, the Zacks fought back with everything they had, and won. The Zacks soon were destroyed after an attack from Kchathollu's eye, and a skeleton god though.

There seems to be a breach in the spawning ground. Some Zach’s will escape, and on instinct head towards the east to the tree of life, while the other unlucky ones shall live in eternal hell as the king slime murders them over and over again.
For reference, the moon lord has around 300,000 HP in total and is the final boss. The EoC yall fought had 100,000 HP.

split into teams of 3 people each one person in each team is a different class and all teams beinh entirely different
like ones your basic mage warrior archer there wont be another team that has a mage warrior and archer all on it maybe a mager warrior and summoner or mage gunner and archer but no teams will be alike as well as making it so all ores generate tons more the dungeons 3 times as big and wilst inside enemies spawn 4 times the usual rate and same goes for every night increase bosses damage by say 50% and multiply there health by either 12 or 24
and for additional challenge either make it perma death watching they just slowly disappear would be just great of make it so only one player can respawn a day and only if a npc didnt respawn as well also give each team one of the capture the gem items and the first to get them all will be rewarded with something of great value at that point in the game (never a weapon)
like early game it might be something like a flying mount or a heap ton of rope or perhaps even a shit ton of an ore
+Einoras Viskontas When you've got more people, you do more DPS, and the amount of dps you do as the number of players goes up increases faster than the health pool of bosses. Take the eye of cuthulu for example, with 1 player it has 3640 health, but with 10 it has 29364, which is less than 3640 multiplied by 10, so if everyone is doing their part, then the boss becomes much easier, as every player has to do less damage on average as the number of players increases. As well as this, bosses can't target everyone at once, making staying alive much easier. Having players also reduces or negates the threat of a boss leaving when it has nobody to target, as if someone dies, there are other players still alive, and as you have more players, it becomes harder for all players to be dead at once, as I said in my original comment.
+[iS] Jeff Well yeah, you're not gonna fight a boss when you aren't properly equipped, that's just stupid. When I said "It'd be literally impossible to lose" it was an exaggeration. Also, I've beaten skeletron with a crappy bow solo before, so if it's possible with 1 person, it's possible with 64.

Storyline:
The species known as the zachs were living in peace and harmony. Until one day a slime king and a fuckton of snow mafias invaded their homeland. This catastrophe had suffered many casualties, for those who survived managed to dig underground or fled to the east on the west.
For sometime later on the east, two zachs founded one of the last living tree and settled there which made te promised land, and the rest of the people underground were invaded by the slime king and mafias. Hundreds of them manage to escape and discovers the holy land and starts an expedition across land.
For a long journey, they have finally made into the promised land. The zachs had peace for sometime until the king slime invaded it. Thousands were killed during the war, and then a giant ass skeleton came outta nowhere and also an eyeball. The battle became worse and worse until the zachs had finally killed the eyeball, the redt may not be killed yet, but this could be the sign of their beginning.
And the rest is history...
This is the next tear-jerking summer blockbuster Hollywood needs to put all of its people into making. I am *shook.*

example: everyone is named zach because rt didn't want people spawning with items so people had to make new characters and he's giving tribute to one of his friends from his old terraria playthrough (sort his vids by oldest -> newest). however, because you can store items in worlds that didn't work at all.
How did rt determine who gets in the server? Was it just the people that got in the fastest?
yep. it was a race to get in, once every slot was filled you would never be able to. he first shared the server password with twitch subs in the sub-only discord chat. after a few minutes, he shared the password in the twitch chat.
the same can't be said for games he streams today. now, every multiplayer game he plays is sub-only :(

@@austhree Because of how Terraria was made if this 2b2t Terraria was as popular as the actual 2b2t it simply would not be playable. On top of that if it was true anarchy then everyone would be hacking and Terraria server based anti cheat wouldn't be able to handle all of the players. Just to put this into perspective, there are 250 2b2t players online at all times and because of the Minecraft massive world limit it is still playable with all of those players but in Terraria there would simply be too many players and not enough space, and all of them hacking and the anti-cheat would not be able to handle everyone. This is why I always prefer Minecraft over Terraria for multiplayer for pretty much anything
