That’s easy, just use a sand + torch combo(way easier than casual mode)
rule of terraria: If you can do damage with it, someone has killed the moonlord with it

You can just focus the whole setup on being tanky

Any type of critter you dont need to kill just need to be at least 15 tiles near it for it to count towards the bestiary.
All the gem critter variants count as different creatures so this can be a very efficient method to fill bestiary early without much killing
Maybe we The Terrarian are the violent ones after all, because we assume we need to kill anything that doesn't have a shop menu

You probably could've used a non-damaging used item like a paint scraper to run backwards with the skutlix, maintaining dps while running away from the enemy at the same time.

if you ever try this in master mode, i suggest going for the toy tank. its like the scuttlix but it shoots bullets and rockets, plus it has a built-in double jump.

This challenge is like, impossible in master mode
you can't do this in expert or master. You can't just tank bosses in those modes, you need to dodge
Pro tip: Dashing with any dash accessory and then immediately mounting will cause the mount to start at full speed, allowing you to use ramming mounts like the horse more effectively
pro tip: watch the vid and he does this
@@patrykk63 well he fought golem using a severe lack of an available dash accessory, so no, he doesn't
additionally he does all of this in normal mode, so the only non-tabi dashes are granted via the crystal assassin armor, which he also never uses.

The editing on these videos is insanely good
First off mad props to you for doing this challenge but there are a few things I hav noticed that might have made it a bit easier, first off feather fall potions are amazing when it comes to mount mobility making most prehardmode bosses a breeze, and also there is a super powerful mount dropped by the mech Santa boss thing in the frost moon although it requires expert mode. Edit: I have been informed that the Santa's mount is actually master mode not expert
The cross necklace might have been helpful as well

16:36, you could have gotten the mechanical minecart from mech bosses (although i think it needs to be on expert), which goes faster and fires lasers

Thanks for doing this i always was intrested in more "unusual" ways to beat terraria like mounts, npcs. Would love to see more like spelltomes or accesories/setbonuses only (if its possible ofc, spell tomes were super chill but dont know about the accesories tho)

you may or may not know this already, but a featherfall potion does the same thing as the umbrella
also, you can hold down to fall faster when you are using the umbrella (or hold attack which will let you pulse the falling)
