December-February is actually the best time go to Iceland. The weather is cold, it is covered in a lot of snow, the glaciers are very big, And it's beautiful and an amazing white winter wonderland. And when snow is falling, it feels very magical.

I just came back (yesterday) from my trip to Iceland.
    I looooooved it!
I was blessed with fantastic weather with only the last day (trip to the Vatnajökull park) in more of a usual weather. This trek was an amazing experience with such improbable successions and combinaisons of landscapes. So may photos I on the internet I thought were Photoshop'ed and the reality was just that! Some landscapes look like a drawing
I managed to spend some extra days in Reykjavik and I love the city, it looks so clean, feels so serein (haven't seen a single police around except at the airport)
I can't wait to go back and visit the North.
Now I have to sort my 600+ photos and videos and compile a live album for my relatives/friends

Woohoo... Just found this video as we have only booked our 11nights in Iceland a couple days ago for July 2020! So can't wait, its been a long bucket list. We are travelling the Ring Road in a camper van. Something we have never done before but this has added to our excitement to try something different and new. The scenery of Iceland just looks so amazing to me and looks like its not from this planet.

Funny story - I listened to your tip about the need for an eye mask for July, so I bought one. Decided to try it out. Woke up in the morning and went to check the time on my phone, but it wouldn't work, so told Echo to turn on the lights but she wouldn't. Then I remembered I was wearing the eye mask. Boy did I feel stupid. At least I know I got not only a good one for blocking light, but I got one that was so comfortable you forget you are wearing it. Just had to share that story with you. LOL

Hi there! I'm about to go on a trip in a few days and was wondering if you could advise on: 1) what do we need electronics wise for charging phones while driving around Iceland (is a normal car charger sufficient)? 2) does Iceland honor refunds like the way the US does? 3) what to do if your rental car breaks down or you get lost in the middle of nowhere? Thanks!!
