This was THE golden age of CZcams. Quality over quantity. I don't mean to imply that creators today aren't passionate, but this was the age where creators were allowed to channel their passion the most through their creations. This is how you do martial arts movies. No strings, no pointless explosions, no killing people with chopsticks. Just well executed moves, stunt men risking serious bumps, and most importantly, making it look like it hurts.

DJ Shadow Bass I'd say that Asian film makers are on another level when it comes to fight scenes. I still have the final scene of Kung fu jungle in my head, and the table fight in IP man 2!
EGvids1 sad thing is, most americans wont watch this, therefore Hollywood wont invest money into this project. Moreover, if this was to be made into a movie, they would get a white actor playing as Wei, which is really stupid
These action sequences are better orchestrated and closer to realistic than many actual feature films out there. Hands down some of the best fight choreography I've ever seen. If there's any justice in the world, the people who put together this fight will be making similar scenes for a living somewhere
This action sequence is a million times better than ones i've seen made in netflix originals n stuff... Also the amount of Jackie Chan influence there is is insaneee
This is my strategy for unarmed and melee weapon opponents. Wait for them to attack first. Press Y to counter, and while they are recovering, land a flying jump kick on them. If you want, you can even throw in some punches. If there are any grapplers, block their attacks and wait until your face meter fills to land attacks on them. That way, if they grapple you and you fail to escape, you will regenerate the lost health. If you have a melee weapon, get as many fast attacks in as possible, while countering the other opponents moves. Another thing that you can do when their health is low is the sweep kick. They will fall down, so you can grapple them and finish them off. That’s just basic moves as well. There is a lot more left to do. Another trick for melee weapon opponents is to fill your face meter, press B to grapple the opponent, and you will auto-disarm them. (This only works if you are face level 3 or above.) That’s my strategy. This strategy is best for Martial Arts club, and makes an easy $30,000HK.
Please stop me, and that isn’t even a complete sentence because no period, and yet you still make a terrible spelling mistake. BUT WAIT! Nobody cares about your “sentence” as well!

Chinese is the general term when referring to a language spoken in China, so it's very vague when you say Chinese(it's like saying indian because in India they have multiple languages). The individual languages are referred to as "dialects", here in the game, the story takes place in Hong Kong where the dialect is "cantonese". But most people interpret Chinese as "Mandarin" which is the most spoken dialect in China.
Gábor Szabó It was almost perfect, there's only something I'd change. How did he know the guy was gonna kick with his left leg? They should have shown the audience with a different camera angle. Like, showing his leg on its way to kicking in a zoomed angle, facing the opponent, and then changing to a zoomed out angle facing the protagonist where you can see him reacting quickly and using the door. He should also have been a little faster. You see this kind of camera angle game in most of Jackie Chan's movies. You gotta tell the audience what's happening through telegraphing and camera tricks. They have a great idea there that they could have expanded on and perfected.
I'm 13 and do MMA I'm not fat in fact I have a six pack and can jog 10-20 minutes because of it. And at sprint I can run for 5 minutes. MMA has done a lot for me. +Arkanjo Teixeira the whole plot in the game actually revolves around wei being much more brutal than necessary to keep his cover as a triad member which is why he often argues with his handler and was no longer under control of the police near the end of the game...there are much more brutal ways to kill in the game than the one here, impalement, blunt trauma, burning alive, drowning, ice chipper, woodsaw to the face,etc...

Botaina J There’s a live action movie coming out soon with no exact release date yet. It’s starring Donnie Yen as Wei, he was in Rogue one. Hopefully it’ll release sometime next year.
5:18 in, his Face Meter finally activates. Is it just me or did that Nameless Triad Mook in the white undershirt beat nine kinds of shit out of him before he finally managed to knock him down? (Also, if this was really true to 'Sleeping Dogs,' he'd need to be grappled 500 times by mysteriously fist-proof fat guys.)

I loved the way this was shot. Every hit on camera, no cutting away at the point of impact. I think I saw a Jackie Chan style "show the start of a move, cut, then show the entire move from another angle" shot or two. Makes sure the audience saw it and understood it.
