The Beatles as a solo artists are so underrated
Haha, joke of the day👍
@@addickkelders2265 what do you mean?
To be "underrated" would imply that they were not and do not continue to be massively successfully and well known
@@dkmarlo thank you Kody, that’s what I meant.
@@dkmarlo he just means their solo work is greatly overshadowed by their work together. It doesn't mean they're not well known or their post beatles careers aren't also vastly appreciated, but in comparison to the beatles they are underrated. I think a lot of their stuff post beatles is just as good and innovative as their 60s era
My favourite solo Beatle has always been George, he really did some beautiful songs.❤
Paul's song with Michael Jackson "Say, Say, Say" is my favortie, but of course Imagine is the one of the greatest songs ever❤
Say say say is one of my fave too (too bad it was not on Thriller, maybe instead of the girl is mine), but Imagine is undoubtly the greatest of all time (the only song that is close is bohemian Rhaspody)
Fun Fact: Half of these streams are probably from me
John has 15, Paul has 23. John was solo for 10 years. Mccartney has been solo for 50 years.
He forgot Instant Karma..
And, John has the top, first two slots. 😎👍
@@waynej2608 but Paul was always the best
@@Dante-nn2zm That's your opinion. I prefer John. That's my assessment. See how it works?
@@waynej2608 why John?
Didn’t think it would be, but a shame Ringo’s Liverpool 8 is not there. Deserves a listen for those who haven’t heard it.
lol yes but I would mention hundreds of songs before that
I like the No, No Song!
Beaucoups of Blues is another fantastic Ringo tune that deserves a listen as well
Damn I never actually knew a George song had more listens then Paul's. Imagine most defiently deserves the top spot though
Yeah if you consider Wings stuff, you should definetly include Travelling Wilburys songs. Glad to see an almost Equal distribution between Paul, George and John...too many Great songs!
I cant believe with all of mcartneys great songs his christmas song is the highest. Guess thats the power of christmas
Great List. I knew Imagine would be at number one. Surprised to see Give Me Love so high, all four of them had amazing solo careers, even Ringo. Thanks for uploading.
By the way: FIRST!
John solo career was garbage
@@Dante-nn2zm Garbage? Wow you must be one of those new young Beatles fans.
@@JesusVazquez-jz2qm and you are a pacifist Who loves Revolution 9 for sure
@@Dante-nn2zm At least I'm not repeating as a parrot what an agenda tells me to say. And with all my flaws, yes I consider myself rather a pacifist. Nothing wrong with it. And yes I also like Revolution #9, specially when listening the White Album as a whole. I think it follows nicely to Cry Baby Cry and leads the end of the album with Good Night. All three of them great pieces with wich John shows how versatile he could be.
@@JesusVazquez-jz2qm an agenda... hahahahahah okay
ALL THINGS MUST PAST BY GEORGE HARRISON
Surprised to see Wonderful Christmastime so high. Interesting.
It's due to Spotify Christmas Playlist, not this song is really that good.
John was better as a solo artist in my opinion I love the beatles but I prefer his solo work plastic ono band is m second favourite album of all time the beatles albums aren't even in my top 10
i agree!
Surprisingly... We all stand together isn't in the list. I would recommend the No No song by Ringo.
its forgotten in new generations. like many other singles (has 6m)
Yes! 😎👍
Things I would add:
*This Girl Is Mine with 91m, should be there
*Instant Karma! (We All Shine On) with 30m
*End Of The Line (142m) Handle With Care (83m)
*No More Lonely Nights has also the album version with (13m so together: 30m),
*same with Watching The Wheels that had a version with 34m, but later became unavailable (together 54m).
*I also would exclude The Kiss Of Venus because its basically only Dominic Fike, and you didn't mention FourFiveSecounds by Rihanna (944m) neither.
Of course there are also remix versions that split the streams also.
Not in the top 50, one I'm very partial to -- George's "Dream Away." It was used in the end credits of the film 'Time Bandits.'
Has 1m
Top 10
10. Jealous guy
9. Maybe im amazed
8. Live and let die
7. Got my mind set on you
6. Band on the run
5. Woman
4. Wonderful christmastime
3. My sweet lord
2. Happy Xmas
1. Imagine
Paul: 4
John: 4
George: 2
John slaps!!where is instant karma??
It is actually in the top 50. They forgot it
😊
Wait so Ringo had the same amount as his Beatles compositions?
Sad that Band On The Run, Maybe I’m Amazed, My Sweet Lord and others have less streams that Imagine
Why is it sad?
I'd be 'sad' if Imagine wasn't number 1!
ofc it is!imagine is a better song!
@@jaxteller312 No it’s not it’s fucking overrated as hell it wouldn’t even make Lennon’s top 20 songs Beatles and Solo career included
@@vitamindeeznutz4102 its your opinion!
Fourfiveseconds
Where ARE the solos???
What about fourfiveseconds? It has Paul McCartney and way more streams than any of these
It's more of a Kanye Rihanna song than a McCartney song, dude only played the guitar in it
@@lukerose384 yes but its a song officially credited to Paul Mccartney as one of the main components, as well as it being seen as being a paul mccartney song on spotify
@@iSkully99 but the stream isn't for paul mccartney!
@@jaxteller312 How do you know? I stream it because of Paul. He wrote the original melody, plays the catchy acoustic riff and does have some singing, albeit speeded up tremendously so you can't tell its him. It should count and would be #1.
where is this is love, blow away, faster??
blow away #89 (with about 10m at least), Faster is a forgotten single, it barely got to 1m now, and this is love about 3m)
John's Christmas song is by far a better song than Paul's
Happy Christmas is a great song with substance on the other hand Paul's is a very silly song
Those two Christmas songs by John and Paul are absolute crap. They only get a massive boost in streams during Christmas. Now that Christmas has passed they'll disappear into thin air only to return in Christmas.
End Of The Line (141m) and Handle Me With Care (82m) deserve to be here since both are written by George.
Yeah but they’re not crap
I unironically love wonderful Christmas time
Well I don’t play Xmas songs in july if you don’t mind.
They aren't crap. Especially Happy Xmas. This Girl Is Mine (91m) should be here too
How is happy xmas crap?!
Handle with care & end of the line ??
John - The great! John - it’s about real rock and pure soul (feelings). Paul - The melody! Paul - it’s about real pop and pure commercial (money). I really like them both. Opposite attracts!
