    Very good point with "Fun". the biggest fun factor is how often i have to recover the truck from a roll over. (I'm old) Have Fun

    I knew that ending was coming. Everyone knows you can’t talk about fight club.
    I want that Asuga! Looks like a perfect big buggy
    👍 great vid

    Agree with you 💯 on the fun factor. Not a Talbot out to bash every time you're out. Driving is more fun than repairing. Although sending has it's fun as well.

    Your air control is excellent. I would have demolished all arms 2 minutes into the pack.

    I haven't even bought my first rc car yet, but these videos are fun! It looks like there are lots of good options but I don't know which one to pick.. 😂

    What makes an rc fun?
    Let's examine that.
    For me, not in any specific order:
    1) durability. Can't have fun driving if it's always waiting on parts.
    2)Handling. Based on the model and what it's designed to do, out of the box it should handle well, be fast enough, have enough torque, etc.
    3) Giggle-factor. This one is hard to quantify, but I have more fun with my mini-LMT doing stuff on everyday objects in the room.
    If I had a camera in my brain, the mixtape would be absolute fire. Contrast that to my very fast but somewhat boring Mad Van VE which has questionable durability for the stock electronics. Much money was spent to make it reliable; every time I throw a pack in and take a drive, I imagine the dreaded skip sound on the diff ring/pinion(s). No fun.
    That's all I've got for now. Comments?

    I bet Corally will be upping the quality of their suspension arms or for sure the aftermarket will offer an upgrade.
    Although the stock arms would probably last me for years. Razor, you drive at another level -- not Rich Duperbash level but still pretty extreme.

    I have been wanting to buy this but I am leaning toward the spark 1/8 scale instead from corally. I like the more instant response/acceleration of the lighter chassis (I love my typhon 3s for that reason) but the larger buggy size would be good for the rough stuff and would be something different in my collection...how do you feel this handles compared to the standard 1/8 scale corally buggies?

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Very similar, just bigger

    Do you find that rig heavy? I picked one up at the shop and it felt like a cinder block. My typhoon 6s was way lighter before I extended it.

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Definitely heavier than your normal 1/8

    Excellent review as usual, I think the arms have an issue, all the reviews of this car broke them

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Hopefully just an issue with that batch.

  • @GarageLifeRC
    @GarageLifeRC Před 3 měsíci

    Those upper arms are flawed. Whether it is a bad batch or not we will find out. I split that seem in mine too. I have some new ones and will see. FYI I can get you corally parts in the states

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  Před 3 měsíci

      Sounds like a lot of people have run into this issue. Thanks for letting me know you're a Corally dealer now, nice!

    Oh sure, if handles superbly, is precise, goes where you want it to, and is consistent...but can it triple backflip?

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  Před 3 měsíci +1

      That would be the MT410 v1!

    Suspensions need down travel. I hate seeing people crank up the spring preload so the suspension is at full extension. They are literally only using half the functions of a suspension system. Anybody who has ever changed a spare tire should be able to note why they have to jack up the car by several inches before the tire even lifts off the ground.

    People hate on the Maxx Slash. It takes a better driver to handle it. If you go through and mess with some of the settings, it’s a beast and always puts a smile on my face.

      😂 your funny

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  Před 3 měsíci +4

      What settings, the ESC has none. The Maxx Slash is the limiting factor for the driver, not the other way around. I can 💯 do more things with the Asuga than I can with the Maxx Slash in every way you can think of.
