- Legacies Season 4 Episode 4 was supposed to be the Season 3 finale so it is SPICY !!! Alaric Funeral Planner aka CJ is joining me again for a very energetic reaction.
In this episode, Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) wrestles with her reality. Alaric (Matthew Davis) entrusts the Super Squad to work together. Cleo (guest star Omono Okojie) confides in Landon (Aria Shahghasemi). Meanwhile, MG (Quincy Fouse) divulges some important information to Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) and Finch (guest star Courtney Bandeko) sees a different side to Josie (Kaylee Bryant). I know that a lot of the actors from Originals didn’t want to be on Legacies, but it is just SO unrealistic to me that Hope’s family wouldn’t even call her? Like after five seasons on protecting (and being overprotective of) her?? Like?? 🙃

At this point, it would make more sense to recast Caroline and Hope's family than to try and explain why they are never there for the kids

being hosie/hizzie aside, killing your lover has to be the most hardcore decision ever and Hope is so brave for that, Freya was right, Hope is already better than all of us
yeah i’ve seen some people say they wish hope turning her humanity off hadn’t been tied to landon because all of her storylines revolve around her, but personally it wouldn’t make sense to me if she had killed him and not turned it off. + it’s not “just” killing landon, it’s the high amount of grief she’s already experienced and killing landon forced her over the edge that she was already very close to.

100% the more times I watch it, the more I'm convinced that Dark Josie is just pretending to be Josie. Not to mention that could be a great way for them to break Josie and Finch up. Like if Dark Josie is pretending to be Josie for multiple episodes and is being a better gf than Josie and Finch doesn't pick up on any red flags then when Josie comes back she would understandably be pissed off/devastated and they could use that to end their relationship. They did that on Smallville with Bizarro, Clark and Lana and it was wild (in a good way).

Hi Kathryn, I want to thank you for responding to my comment about .Cleo, explaining why you really like her character when I was finding it hard to get on board with new characters that were kind of, in my opinion, thrown in the show in the 9th inning! And I do completely agree with your explanation of Alaric not really being the best “FATHER” to Lizzie and Josie , but being a good “father FIGURE” to some of the kids at school and I did not hear about Matt’s insensitive remark😠I thank you for having this channel and doing these videos .it is no doubt a lot of work and time! I have enjoyed these videos, even though I was very late to the party! I don’t know if you will be doing another show or not and I don’t know how I would find out! Do I need to get on a list or something? Just FYI, I started watching the NBC show The Blacklist , maybe a couple of months ago and it is BRILLIANT.!!! All aspects of the show, writing, characters, directing, acting - ALL TOP KNOTCH, I think they had 8-9 seasons, it’s easy to get caught up in this show it’s riveting, emotional, powerful, edge of your seat, can’t hit the “next episode” button fast enough!! I watch it on Netflix I can’t say enough about this show!!Thanks again
thanks so much for your support! as of now I haven't started a new show- Daniel Gillies has a movie on Netflix that I want to watch, and I'm thinking on taking a dip into the Marvel Cinematic Universe because I've only seen a few Marvel movies and there's a lot for me to do there. even if I don't do videos on it though I'll definitely check out the Blacklist, I love tv shows with lots of seasons because it's so immersive.

I like overkill sometimes it’s necessary ( I know that was unnecessarily mysterious) I think HOPE ROCKS especially in this episode!! I love you girls, youcrack me up! It must be so much fun watching these shows together! LANDON HOT, HOT, HOT as usual! there was some tally funny dialogue in this episode, in all, but especially this one! I personally loved “on a scale of 1 to Mommy” Lol, Lol I am asked the 1 to 10 question a lot from my doctors, because unfortunately, I have some really serious health problems, so I need to laugh as much as possible!😭😡😢

Buffy did it so much better with the Sacrifice your lover trope. Honestly, after believing Landon was gone or dead so many times already. I don't think it landed as emotionally as Buffy/Angel. Also, seeing Landon with Ted afterwards really diminishes the impact. Clearly, Landon will be coming back, Again!!!!
