- The House has voted to expel New York Republican Rep. George Santos over ethics violations, making him only the sixth lawmaker ever to be kicked out of the chamber. The resolution required a two-thirds majority vote to succeed. #CNN #News
What’s bizarre is that if a junior assistant manager at a bank did a quarter of the things Santos did, he would be fired immediately but yet half of the GOP voted to keep this grifter liar in Congress !
Unbelievable.
Sadly for politics these days it's completely believable...
R - Republicans
I - in
N - Name
O - Only
😂
How is it unbelievable? Look who the GOP worship as their "leader"?
The difference is Santos was voted into that position. The House Speaker had it correct when he said it is not our job to circumvent the voters decisions. Now, if he has been convicted of any crime then that is another matter. Use your brain before putting fingers in motion. Grifters and liars are not in short supply on either side.
@@rickss69 The voters didn't elect Santos, they elected who Santos told them he was.

It’s absolutely ridiculous that Eric Swalwell it’s still around. You will recall he had that relationship with the pretty little Chinese communist spy, who fled the country once the FBI determined that she was a spy. We have Bob Menendez, who is still around after he was indicted for felony crimes involving Egypt. What did this Republican do that was so terrible?
But STILL 2 dems voted to keep him!!! We need to know who!
Everything has got the beginning
More Republicans voted against the motion than for it (by a small margin). They are still a disgrace. The names of the dissenters should be studied and memorized so citizens know who to vote out at the first opportunity.
Completely incomprehensible that anyone could possibly vote to keep him in office. Shows just what Republicans think of the people they are supposed to represent.
