- Following a new agreement reached between Kobe Bryant's estate with Nike, they recently released the first Kobe sneaker earlier this month after a nearly year-long hiatus. The "Mambacita Sweet 16" colourway dropped on Gigi's birthday where she would have turned sixteen years old, and as such, this pair is a nod to her including her jersey #2 visible on the heel.

Great video, loved the break down as always and the beginning tribute. Scored mine from exclusive access and I love that it's a simple colorway to wear with a lot. I think like you said people forgot stock was already made in 2020 so let's hope we see wider releases beyond this.

@@SeanGo okay thank you, I know Kobe’s fit super snug so I just wanted to make sure if I do get them my feet won’t be suffering in them. I have a pair Kobe 4s at true to size 10.5 and my feet hurt in them.
Shoe of the year for me, got a 10 because I couldn’t check out an 11 or 10.5 had to close out snkrs and was a smooth checkout for a 10. I can’t wear them so it’ll just stay in my collection

Nike is never going to release more quantities of Kobe shoes. Or any of their other sought after products. That will go against their program of artificial scarcity and exclusivity. Unless you've got an inside track to shoe plugs like most shoetubers, the general masses including me will always never have a chance at drops like this

I disagree with you. I don't like this take of "Nike didn't produced enough pairs" first of all there were almost 100thousand pairs... Then as a lifetime Kobe fan I remember how every single model of Nike Kobe's ended up in the outlet very few people cared about Kobe shoes and very few people cared about the protro Kobe shoes, everyone that wanted a pair could get a pair, literally the trend it's repeating right now with KD's, Kyries, LeBron's, every shoe is available for whoever wants to buy a pair and almost all end up with mark downs, how many pairs are "enough pairs"? The hard truth is since there's resale value right now due the Kobe tragedy everyone wants to CAPITALIZE out of it, so most people want to buy a pair just to make a dollar; btw I didn't even got a pair I live in Italy Nike didn't released pairs anywhere in Europe yet Kobe actually spent a big part of his childhood here however I'm not mad at it I understand why LA deserves majority of the stock. That's the truth. Rip Kobe & Gigi🙏🏻
