Even though I won't be buying any candy, I do love looking. There is so much now compared to when I was a child. No small candy bars, but some generous houses gave full-size bars! Then, there were the homemade popcorn balls! Such nice memories. I'm a Halloween baby so I think that's why I love it so much!
I don't buy candy either. No one comes to my house for trick or treating and we don't need the sugar, lol. There is so much more variety these days. I would have loved to get full-size candy bars when I was a kid. I don't remember much chocolate at all. Homemade popcorn balls are delicious. The ones from the store are so nasty, in my opinion. Haha that’s so funny with the pretzels! My 10 year old daughter isn’t a big candy person, she just likes chocolate, and she gets very excited when she gets pretzels and/or chips when she goes trick or treating 😂😂

The autumn mix is my favorite. Mix with peanuts and tastes like a payday candy bar. Throw in some mini chocolate peanut butter cups and it’s an autumn favorite.

my family love the caramel apple pops and everyone we have given them too love them too..especially the teachers...target sells out so quick and I hoard them and give them each a bag at Christmas too.

No eeewhah to the pretzels lol! I love pretzels. My Mom gave chips- like the Frito Lay's assortment. Now that she's gone I do it in her memory. I love most of the gummy stuff. Dots, Tootsie Rolls, Sour Patch and Swedish Fish and Now and Laters. My favorite chocolate is Milky Way- Milk and Dark chocolate. Love Mounds too.

I am on my second bag of Nerds Candy Corn. Love them. There were these candies when I was a kid, that I used to get trick or treating, that I loved. I think they were Banana flavored. They were long and chewy, but I don't remember what they were called. I don't think they make them anymore. They were wrapped like cow tales or mary janes, but that isn't them.

Hi Jennifer, do you remember which candy you loved that you found in your trick or treat bag as a child? I don't really, but I do remember thinking it was an enormous amount!! And, I'm so old, we had one Kennedy half dollar coin every once in a while, we thought we were rich! LOL! And we had pillow cases as our trick or treat bag!! We weren't rich but we never knew it!! Hi Jennifer and happy Monday! I just loved this video! It's so fun to see all the different varieties of candy for Halloween! Please don't come for me, but I hate cheap candy. I am a See's candy lover. I always buy See's for Halloween. I used to like store bought candy like Hershey's, Reese's, Twix, Milkyway, M&M's. As I got older, I just don't like them anymore. I hate candy corn, autumn mix, pumpkins. I find then too sweet. I do like Dove milk chocolates, Russell Stover marshmallow milk chocolate candy, Kathy Kaye popcorn balls. My Gram is long gone but every year for her birthday and Christmas we her fellow Jersey peeps gave her Russell Stover candy. Our California cousins sent Mrs Seas. We tried to make her pick a favorite each swearing ours was the best. Naturally she said she liked it equally

The kiddie mix bags are my favorite to purchase! I have 6 brothers and sisters, my sister has going on 4 kids so plenty of nieces and nephews, our neighborhood has so many kids for trick or treating, then I usually make my husband’s coworkers treat bags as well. It’s a LOT of candy but at least it all goes well. 🍬 all the options are overwhelming but I try to do a mix of different options.

I gave out fruit snacks for Halloween even though it's not part of candies. I mix the fruit snacks along with other candies to give out. You showing different brands of candies when I went candies shopping to Walmart, CVS, and big lots. I didn't even see they have gummy candies so I use fruit snacks because they had gummy candies. I had fun giving out candies for the trick or treaters. My goal was give out candies for Halloween. You show different candies it makes for next Halloween day I want to give out those types of candies. I was searching for gummy candies and candy sticks along with non chocolate candies so I could mix them with chocolate miniature candies.

The Halloween trick of 2022 is the absolute gouging by the candy corporations. I will not be participating this year. For the first time in fifty years my porch light will be off.
